Spent August bank holiday weekend 2009 there. Peaceful in the extreme, there can't be many places left where you can not hear the roar of road traffic in the distance. Friendly owners, plenty of space to wander around without needing clothes. We will be going back next year when there will hopefully be more than just us on site.

Yes it is good - But a little primitive for some
Have they still got the famous double holer & radiator heated pool ?

Lovely long walks around his field and a chance of being spotted by low flying passenger jets.

The double hole loo is still there, was a bit smelly as it was quite warm. There is now another loo up by the other barn, a proper flush sit down one.
Didn't try the pool though but I like the low tech way of heating it.
The owner was saying that he would be taking the pool down for the winter the weekend after our visit.

The fishing lakes of the same name are a separate business. The entrance to the farm and camp site is about 100 metres further on as the road bends to the right. (over the small river)

Last year there were quite a few facilities added. Showers, sinks and toilets. Still rustic but perfectly adequate.
These were done for the Nudestock event which we attended and can recommend. It is repeated this year at the end of May. Info on their website -

There is to be another Nudestock in 2012. The comedy gala will take place on the Tuesday evening. One sketch to feature James Bond. (Yes I am playing James Bond!)

This line is worked into the script along with other Bond clichés

I could tell you more, but I'd have to kill you first.

Hope to see some members at this camp-site this year, as it is very peaceful and has a lovely view throughout and towards the end of the day.

Hope to meet couples Yorks/Lincs.

Went to this site a few times last.... very relaxing, quiet and of course you can be nude all day or not, its very easy going with few  R & R's

Hoping for the weather to improve soon so I can visit again.
