Great info, David, thank you.
I agree with Ian, although have to be really careful even about getting a caution as I work in education. How would that affect the DBS check, for example? It's a pity because naturism is just that, natural, and I just want to enjoy the freedom without upsetting or annoying others.

I am afraid a caution is an admission that you were guilty of an offence and what's more it is never spent whereas an actual conviction is after a specified period of time depending on the offence. I would not accept a caution unless I was actually guilty of an offence, and it would be the lesser of that or a conviction for something, even then I would consider it very carefully.

Well I have a busy couple of days at work, forget to check the thread and look what happens!  ☺

Many thanks for your hard work David in getting the forest rangers on side.

I think that  would be a good place to start and then maybe the next one could be Derbyshire/somewhere  else.

So... Any one have any dates in mind.  A Monday or Friday would be best if it can't happen at a weekend for me personally.

If you're a couple in the Midlands and are under 50...say hi.

I doubt that I would ever consider accepting a caution. They are often used as a quick way to improve the clear up statistics as they do not impose any burden of proof on the police and do not use court or (much) police time. In at least some areas, a caution will only be offered if there is a good to fair chance that a court will not convict or the CPS will not charge.

Just my view...

Ian.

Just to bump the thread really, not much chance the rest of this year but hopefully could get enough of us together to make it worthwhile.

Cannock chase,
Sherwood forest
Peak District

Anyone any experience of walks in above areas or know of any other Midlands naturist friendly walking areas?

Be interested in Sherwood Forest & Peak District walks.

I would be interested in Sherwood Forest walks too. I have walked around the local nature reserve in Colwick, Nottingham.

As a bit of a bump as it's all gone quiet.

How about Friday 27th May at Sherwood?

At the parking spot David posted a map too.
