Hi
We had our first visit to Euronat last summer for 7 nights, we enjoyed it so much we actually ended up staying for 10 nights in the end as we were in no rush to get home.
It was quite simply a joy to be somewhere with so much freedom and such fantastic facilities and amenities.
Our little boys aged 5.5 and 3.5 now (the 0.5 is very important when you are so little) had a blast. Visiting the beach every day or spending a few hours by the pool, cycling around the vast estate, playing ball games by our caravan and generally being completely shattered by the end of the day. I don't think they have ever slept quite so soundly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone with kids as they are so well catered for and the entire place feels so safe. We of course always watch our boys like hawks and especially in a naturist scenario where the beaches are public etc. There are so many children's activities going on all the time it's fantastic. We did try our eldest at the kids club and he absolutely hated it!! Will try again this year. I think he was a little lost as he was the only English child present.
The village centre is excellent, with lovely food, and a great ambience all round. The shops are a little pricey but that's to be expected in such a niche market I suppose. If it's groceries you want there is a fantastic supermarket about 15 minutes drive away and it's as cheap as chips.
We drove the entire 730 odd miles with our caravan in tow and yes it's a very long way indeed with little ones in the car. However we are booked in again for this summer so it must have been worth our while.
This year we are taking the boys to Disneyland Paris first and staying at Heliomonde then moving on down to Euronat at the beginning of August and we all just cant wait.
Hope this helps anyone thinking of going. Give it a try it is fantastic especially for families as that seems to be the entire reason for it's existence.
Enjoy,
Andy x
I wasn't really naked. I simply didn't have any clothes on.

Hello just a little off the subject, when we do go to Euronat We don't want to drive from St malo/ Cherbourg to Euronat in one go can anyone recommend any campsites(motorhome) sort of mid way that hopefully naturist?
Many thanks in advance.

Euronat for us, it's a great place, the seaside town of Montalivet is a short, safe bike ride away - Soulac Du Mer about 30 minutes away by car - if you don't to go out Euronat will provide everything that you need, you can be naked for your whole stay should you wish
Afternoon folks, We usually stay at Cavignac which is just above Bordeaux on the rn 10 but there are Aires in most of the towns and villages just off R n10. Cavignac is about 2.5hours from Euronat. We have also used campsite at Pons and Chatelrault Suds on the n10 (toll). norm

24/7 nudity is still totally acceptable everywhere in Euronat at all times, whatever anybody else is doing.
The textile element seems to vary from hour to hour, day to day and week to week partially dependent on the weather.

Euronat is a big camping place. We have been there twice. You can be fully nude there 24/7.
But others do not allways.
If you like nude beach live it is good there. But if you do want to see clothed people it is the wrong place to be. There have been moments that we were the only nudes in the morning!
Carpe Diem. Just enjoi everey day. Live can be short

Also worth taking a look at Arna, a bit further south on the West Coast. When we have been, the majority are naked most of the time, unless the weather is poor. It's in a lovely setting and not too big.

Afternoon folks,
We have been to Euronat many times but now prefer Arna . In fact we have booked for September . I would still go back Euronat but not for long duration though but everyone to there own.

I enquired about a holiday this summer to Euronat but was told that, being a single naturist, I would need to be a member of BN. I am not a member and just wondered if any other single has been asked this.
I love being in my skin
Victor - they ask for some sort of naturist credential for any singles - so as to try to stop pervs
So either join BN or go with a mate and say you're a couple
I really should have been born on a tropical island
Victor,
As Stu indicates, BN membership might be the best bet as that includes INF. Of course, there is never any guarantee because I think they do not have clearly published guidelines/rules, but BN membership will probably work.
5 years ago I went to Euronat as a single male. They asked for credentials (actually said 'naturist passport') and as I was a member of two swims at that time I sent photocopies of the two membership cards. I was also able to tell them that I had taken the family on holiday there a few times 20 years previous -- so I don't know whether the membership cards were sufficient or whether they would still be sufficient!
