Have spent a v pleasant hour or so on this beach this afternoon, tucked around the further point. It was easy to find and not too hard to negotiate the way down. This beach, not to be confused with Wild Pear , is on the west side of the town and benefits from afternoon and evening sun. We had heard that this was being used as a naturist beach and as we were alone, this was highly possible. I don't think you could be viewed from the top either. Just off the coast path by the Torrs. Follow the sign that says lime kiln. Would recommend and will return.
Well done Jim, glad that you found it ok. I think I can see the way down to it on Google earth. I had been told it had naturist use by a friend at a swim, so he must have seen others there in the past and I managed to find one comment about naturists on a now closed tripadvisor thread. Good to hear that the cliffs both screen from onlookers and it gets afternoon sun. Think us naturists need to do more to claim this beach as our own! Hope to try it out over the summer.
We visit that beach when we stay at Acorns, very nice
This the beach you access off the Torrs Path isn't it then down a steep set of steps, although some local to me who know it say you need to continue to another cove next to it, is this correct ? I may give this place a go, although up to now every time I'm in 'Combe' the weather hasn't been encouraging, & Saunton is closer.
Would be nice to have a What3words location reference?

I've got What3words, how do I get a location ref ?
From memory you just move the marker around and it gives the location words

Yeah that's dead on the headland below the Torr's path, you can spot the steps to the left of the marker.
