Hi there!

I’m a mid-50’s widower from Cleethorpes (NE Lincolnshire, UK). I enjoy being ‘unfettered’ whenever weather and circumstances allow. Mostly this is confined to at home or gardening, though there is a virtually unused nude beach just an hour’s cycle ride away and a few places to night walk. Without a car it is difficult to explore farther afield, but working on it.

I would like to become involved with social events and meet interesting, likeminded people – men, women, couples, whatever – to share a good natter and the odd silly laugh (but be warned, I am master of the awful pun!). There are no social groups or meet-ups (that I know of) in or close to Cleethorpes, so in time I would like to perhaps start one. I would be especially interested to hear from anyone who is local or who has experience with organising groups, events or get-togethers, but I will happily chat with anyone, anywhere about anything interesting. I’m a bit of an astronomy nerd and a cycling fanatic, but don’t let that put you off – I can do ‘normal’ conversation too.
