My wife and I have enjoyed Studland Bay beach for many years, I'd love to find other beaches or gardens that we could explore. We're both keen ramblers & gardeners, but our garden is a bit overlooked to enjoy properly.

We just like to feeling of the sun on our skin. One glorious day, I realised how silly it was to go to the beach with pointless "beachwear" - and as for the silly little shuffle with a towel held around your body.... Anyway, we're too old to care about our wrinkles and other "shortcomings", as it were...

Frankly, I'd like to pick the brains of the members here to find out the good places and the bad. WE discovered Vault Beach in Cornwall almost by accident, and despite the shingle we had a lovely time. By contrast, the beach at Berck in Northern France was just a mass of male meerkats the day we went. So, all advice is welcomed.
