I was introduced to nudism in the late 1960s by some friends in the FKK in Germany. I also had a brief experience in 1977 with a club in Pennsylvania. That was the extent of my encounters with social nudism, except for some informal get-togethers with friends in hot tubs or pools (this is California, after all). But I've always felt more comfortable being nude when weather permits.

I'm a member of The Naturist Society and of my own non-landed club, the Sacramento River Dippers. Now that the COVID restrictions have been lifted here, I've been to three of the area's clothing-optional establishments, and have plans to visit more of them.

I should add that I am happily married, but my wife is not into nudism due to some traumatic experiences in her childhood. Therefore, I'm not looking for romantic companionship, but would like to get acquainted with anybody who shares my love of naturism.
