I would concur with John's comments re Golcar for car hire, avoid them like the plague they are a complete ripoff regardless of what they say in their advertising.

I forgot to mention that when taking the bus to the beach you should ask for Los Hoteles.

I have just booked the car hire for November on Lanzarote with Autoreisen , a Renault Twingo or similar ( we don't have a big car ) 211.71 Euros for 19 days
