Any English teachers here, maybe I should have said WHICH or WHERE is your favourite Greek, Spanish/Canaries destination?

The usual places seem to keep their reputation. 8)

Hope to meet couples Yorks/Lincs.

Calblanque beach near Los Belones, Cartagena has to be our favourite.  Huge clothing-optional area of flat sand and dedicated naturist bays over the headland to the SW.  Lots of opportunity for nude walking and scrambling and usually quiet unless at weekends.

El Portus, the other side of Cartagena - stony beach but restaurant, bar, pool etc.  Wouldn't want to visit for long, but it does make a good centre for exploring the area.  eg, take the little road to the SW of Cartagena Bay that leads up to the gun emplacement, and about half-way there's a donkey track on the left where you can walk with your kit off for miles, looking down on the Bay with the anchored tankers waiting to offload.

Vera Playa isn't our sort of place.  We like to walk and explore and hate urbanisations!

We love Fuerteventura, Infiniti is a great place to stay and would like to try gran natura but the only thing I've heard is someone calling it "colditz" also my wife thinks it looks like a swingers hotel. Its a shame Infiniti isnt in Morro Jable as the best beaches are there. Tried Vera playa the hotel is good but surrounding area is a bit short of nightlife.

@ Steve - Gran Natura is very friendly & no way is it swingers place. It's adults only but think that's only for practical reasons [its a good place to chill & only has double rooms]

I really should have been born on a tropical island

My first and to date still only naturist beach experience was on the beach near the big Riu Hotels next to Corralejo. It was really nice, busy but not crowded and beautiful sunny weather in October.

So that's my favourite so far. Hopefully I'll have more to compare it too before too long.

Our favourite one always seems to be the last one we visetd. It would be nice if you could pick a bit of each of them, but after a discussion with Mrs Dev we have chosen Greece, well kos to be exact because that is the only Greek island we have visited, and one of the reasons was the warm sea, and lovely beach, oh and the good food.

If I can go off topic can I ask Sharaz, and Peter where they did there shopping and eating out in maspalomas, as we couldn't work out what was the commercial centre. We were all inclusive, so didn't eat out, but the only shops and restaurants we found where in Milonares.

"Try to live a good life. Don't be afraid to be what you are'. some bloke in the pub.

OFF TOPIC TO ANSWER THE QUESTION.

we found some lovely eateries and bars in Playa del Ingles which was only a 5 euro taxi ride away. i recommend the Chinese Buffet and Argentina in the Cita Centre and any of the bar-cum-resturants in the beachside strip in Maspalomas itself. Good value if somewhat basic.

We love Fuerteventura, especially beaches like El Cotillo, Kite beache near the Hotels outside Corralejo, and Risco del Paso, down between Costa Calma and Morro Jable

Tropical beach on Kos near Kardamena is a small naturist beach with beautifull sand and shallow warm sea, Only around 20 sunbeds but really relaxing. Multinational will all peoples mixing well. No known naturist accommodation nearby but worth it for the 7 hours a day with good naked company.

Love light and Peace ( as Spike would say)

has to be Fuerteventura. Off there again on Saturday it will be our 8th time on the island. We are staying for the first time at "Infiniti" having stayed previously at Caleta, El Cotillo and Corralejo.
