We love it at Grand Cosse - but you'll either love it or hate it!  It's near a fantastic beach (all naturist), and the pools, bar and restaurant are all good.  The bar has entertainment at weekends in low season, and then most evenings in high season.  The site does a really good wine, from the Clape mountains nearby, at 1.50 euros a litre, straight out of the barrel and into your own bottle!  The main problem tends to be mosquitos, but the site sells a huge range of anti-mozzie products.  If your a bird-watcher (feathered kind) then the site has a fantastic number of bird species.  You may see flamingos in the lagoon, bee-eaters flying overhead, stilts, terns, herons (grey and purple), ducks of all sorts, birds of prey over the marshes, and lesser kestrels (which are very rare elsewhere in France) hunting over the site.  It's a walk to the beach, across the nature reserve, but it's a site which we adore going back to.

The shop on site is good, and there's good shopping at the HyperU in either Serignan (not Plage, village), or even better in the town of Agde, (not Cap d'Agde) there's a good local market in Serignan, a daily 'tourist' market in St Pierre sur Mer, and absolutely loads of lovely places to visit reasonably near by.

When are you going?  We're likely to be there in late May/early June.  I've replied to your other post about a toll-free route, too!

We were at Grande Cosse 2 years ago . A word of warning , be very careful about using your sat.nav, we did and ended up down back lanes, really quite unsuitable for towing a caravan. When we did eventually arrive and we were telling the receptionist , "you didn't use a sat.nav , did you , oh no !"I can't remember the exact route in to Grande Cosse, but am sure someone will be able to tell you .

Dick

It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .

I have been there 3 times and will be there again on June 17th for 2 weeks. I agree with all the above but look out for the sand flies on the beach! Are you going with Parasol Holidays who are very good.

if you simply want a lovely naturist beach within a textile holiday , look at tropical Beach on Kos , kardamena. glorious sand only 20 sunbeds ans a little eaterie, good snorkling and only a few textile walkers. Mainly Brits but a few other friendly euro' cousins italy/ france etc. Peaceful and friendly, take a look on websire Captain barefoot.

Want to try naturism all day and night, including dining, swimming plus complementary sun loungers and umbrellas? How about warm sea in a lagoon highly suited to snorkelling and cocktails served in a beach bar also serving good off a grill? Club Orient, St.Martin.

Yes, Club Orient is a great place for a completely relaxed naturist holiday. The only downside (apart from the cost) is the endless procession up and down the beach of rubber-necking tourists off the cruise ships.
