As you are in a chalet, don't forget to take head & shoulders pictures with you for your passes. If you don't it is quite a hassle to get them taken and printed locally. With the passes you will get free access to the excellent pool.
Also, while you are there, you may wish to book a treatment at the naturist thalasso centre. My wife always treats herself but it gets very busy so you would be advised to book as soon as you get there or even check it out on-line and book before you get there.

Don't they have a camera on the reception desk that they can take and print your pass? Unfortunately, we've been to so many places I can't remember accurately where they make an image on site, and where they don't. We have certainly never been anywhere that has required us to go and get photos taken elsewhere. And only a tiny number of places that have required additional separate photo id to be produced. Perhaps one or two out of 70-odd French naturist sites visited during the last four summers.
Alternatively, can't the resort just scan the pics in your passport?
It's a couple of years since we were last at Euronat and all I can remember is an easy and warm check-in at reception.

The second time we stayed was August 2013 when we flew to Bordeaux, picked up a hire car and drove to Euronat. At the reception (which I agree has always been very warm and friendly) we were asked to produce pictures for our passes. We did not have any so were told to take our own pictures and then transfer them onto a memory stick and take them to the Oli D Shop 
in the town square where, for a small fee, they would print them on standard A4 paper. We then had to take the pictures back to reception to have them attached to our passes.
Knowing this, last year I made sure we had pictures with us when we arrived.
I think that the pass was only needed for free entry to the pool.

Thanks for the clarification Simon! That is weird and hard to understand why reception don't take care of everything - which would be completely straightforward in my opinion. I also can't understand why we didn't have to go through that palava? Wonder if the fact we were using our BN cards for id made any difference?
Was there any advance guidance in the booking particulars of what was required - it doesn't sound as though there was?
In any case, useful advice for anybody planning to go there - 'be prepared'. Appreciate the alert.

I would have suggested one of the 4 big sites down the west coast for a first time. Me and mrs goldi just got back from arna yesterday after three weeks of good weather with only a couple of wet ones. Euronat was the first naturist site we went to in the 80,s . Its a bit cheaper to take your own passport size photos.

Plenty online if you google mens Sarongs, Pareos or Lungi
But they are a pretty much a unisex item. 😉

Ah-ha - that could explain it - we were staying in our camper, rather than a chalet on that occasion. And we didn't use the pool either.

A sarong might indeed be handy, but I'm not sure if there are strictly speaking any 'no-go areas' within Euronat? Perhaps somebody who is a more regular visitor can clarify?
I know sarongs are popular with the ladies, and fine for men too. But, failing a sarong for your hubby, a pair of shorts would no doubt suffice.
I have a sarong, but normally use it either to sit on, or to just cover up when lying on a sunbed or the beach if the sun goes in for a while and it turns cooler. Rarely actually 'wear' it, though wouldn't hesitate to if the occasion arose. 🙂

I Would,nt bother buying anything beforehand , if you find the need which I do,nt think you will there is a number of shops on site that sell things like that. I have only clobbered up in the evening to go to a restaurant

There are no textile areas to pass through in Euronat 8)

Arrived yesterday at Euronat, what a fantastic resort. Think it's the perfect place to introduce anybody to naturism for the first time. This is my fourth time here in as many years and I absolutely adore the wholesome nature, freedom and just normality of living life naked that it offers (written with the benefit of a bottle of the exceedingly fine local plonk behind me admittedly!)....
Here until August 9th....concerned it may not be long enough!
