Did you collect any of the litter yourself? Living by the coast, there are many of us who are members of beach cleaning clubs that spend our free time cleaning our beaches and educating the public to do the same. If everyone who visited th beach took five minutes of there time to do a quick litter pick we would all benefit from cleaner beaches.

There's a carpark at the end of the road which leads through to the boardwalk onto the beach of into the caravan park and through the dunes.

Still a long walk though.

Always looking for friends.

Today was our first nude beach experience we made the 1 hour 20min trip to Morfa Beach, hoping as we drove that the temperature would go up by a few more degrees by the time we arrived. we parked in the caravan site for a charge of £2 for the day which was good. Shorter trek to the beach....as we'd be told there was a fair distance to the nudist area of the beach. The walk to the beach was easy enough and the views on the beach were just beautiful with a few people are walking, some with children others with their dogs.Still dressed in shorts &  t'shirt we continue to walk wondering where does the nudist area begin!  lol are we the only nudist there....up on the dunes we spot a naked person walking along the top with his bag and fold up chair then another head appears in the dips of the dunes, so is this it?? We find a spot and get our towels out...do we wait for the few walking by to pass or just go for it?! Jeff makes the first step and strips he's happy, feeling free  and relaxed, I waited just a little longer to be sure no one was watching. We lay relaxed Listening & Watching the sea a few people walk pass,  I think I noticed them more than they noticed us. This was it our first public nudist experience!!
On walking back along the beach....we passed a few naturist sunbathing, enjoying the sun but there were also a few individuals (men) playing with themselves not what we had expected to see, these people obviously have no respect for themselves or for other  who were there to enjoy themselves in beautiful surrounding. Although we had been told that there are a few that behave inappropriately but this left us feeling a little sad and dampenning our mood somewhat. It's a shame that there is always a few that give naturism a bad view.

yes unfortunately you get this behaviour at a lot of naturist beaches  🙁
even in Europe 🙁 They have a nick name as Meerkats.
But I hope you enjoyed your 1st naturist beach experience.

Keep On Smiling:)

It has been 10+ years since the last time I went to the beach at Morfa - to age me the first few years I went the pill box marked the start of the naturist section of the beach!

It always seemed the case that families and genuine naturists were to be found on the beach itself and down by the water and those there for other purposes could be found in the dunes.

From spring bank holiday weekend on throughout the summer it is very popular (depending on the weather) and I would recommend keep trying it.  I have some very fond memories of the place and very few negative experiences.

In my opinion, if we stop using beaches because of meerkats and "other activities" they win and we lose.

We need to use our beaches as much as possible and prove that you can be naked without being a nuisance.
