I was considering visiting Morfa but after reading the above thread we wont bother. Now I know why we go abroad for our beach fix. Im also in the baseball bat school of thought but i do like the idea of taking pics to give to rozzers mg;

We stopped going to Morfa for this exact reason, we visited and saw a couple go on top of the dunes, but still in full sight, quickly surrounded by men. Ten minutes or so later the couple came down and headed to the sea to clean off. Disgusting as the beach was full. I couldn't risk my kids seeing this type of behaviour so we have never returned.

In our eyes they have won, we stick to clubs now.

Yuk! how unpleasent, it wouldnt stop me but I'd have to say something to them

I couldn't believe how the couple just settled back down to sun bathe looking very proud of themselves.

Y'know, we always found it better over the years to stay out of the dunes, no matter what beach or where.  If it's a windy day take one or two windbreaks and stake your claim on the beach.  We at one time used windbreaks about four feet tall but now use quite low ones able to be on a lounger and look over the top watching the world go by. Dunes are a No-No.

I think that goes for all beaches naturist and none naturist.

Going to Morfa Dyffryn for the day early next week and wondering if the "meerkats" are only in the dunes at weekends? Hope to be taking some non-naturist friends there (the beach that is, not the dunes!!) and don't want the visit spoiled by unsavoury behaviour. In fact, is the beach well used this time of year anymore? Is the area ever patrolled by beach wardens?

Alan.

Take your camera with you and the longest lens you can find and point it at them from time to time. they will soon disappear.  8)

You need to be advised that you are not allowed to have a .303 rifle underneath your most powerful lens.  mg;

I was having a moment of flippancy in my previous reply.

I do so agree that we need to see the back of these pests and reporting is a good option. I believe at Holkham the land owners behind the beach used evidence of "goings on" as an excuse to try to ban naturism, although there was unacceptable behaviour behind the non-naturist beaches too.

Davie you're so right about Holkham, as many of you know its a vast beach and the naturist area is a good 20/30 minutes walk, so why would you knowing that; walk all that distance to then be discussed by for very few non- naturist doing things in the dunes. The estate itself is not very popular locally for various reasons and this has been their excuse alter the area for naturist which is now like sitting on wet sand on a traffic roundabout.
