Went to Morfa Dyffryn yesterday but circumstances (= group we were meeting up with) did not allow a visit to the naturist section. However observation from the southern end did indicate perhaps 20 - 30 windbreaks, etc. at that end of the naturist section and 3 or 4 individuals standing on top of the dunes directly behind them. Of course these could have been just enjoying the view out to sea but they did disappear when a Search and Rescue vehicle came onto the textile beach with "blues & twos" on.

Alan.

Morfa was my 1st experience of a UK beach with a former partner. We stayed at the main Campsite having rented a static Caravan and enjoyed a marvellous week enjoying the beach which does seem to have its own Micro climate. Look forwards to getting back there again sometime soon.

Enjoy!
Wifey has not been on a nude beach for a couple of years, so we'll head to Morfa ourselves at some point. It's where the whole nudist thing started for us about 20 years back.
By way of encouragement, I think I might just give it a few more weeks, just to be sure it will be warm and comfortable.

A good place to camp. We were camping there when we first stumbled across the nudist beach quite by accident. If you're lucky you can find a pitch that is almost on the beach. Beautiful spot.

Leaflets received on our previous visits to Shell Island state that "naturism is not permitted" on any part of their land. I have always assumed this includes the beach as far south to where the 'designated' naturist section starts. Of course the recent clarification from CPS, etc. means in theory that there is no need for a 'designated' public beach for naturism but Shell Island is privately owned.

Yes, We knew Shell Island was not a naturist place, Just a very nice place for us to camp. We had a field to ourselves this past weekend so quite private anyway. lol
We did walk to the naturist Beach but didn't see any one naked, But did have a few minutes ourselves naked by the water anyway, which was fun.

I’m near Morfa Dyffryn beach on Friday, I’ve never visited before and I only have a couple of hours.

Could any regulars or locals please help me with the closest place to the beach to park as my time is restricted.

Thanks in advance.

I enjoyed the walk, it was overcast and a cold wind with the occasional drizzle.
I’d detoured 2 hours to get there so there was no way I wasn’t enjoying the beach, I stripped of and walked the length of the naturist beach a couple of times to keep warm.
The only other people I saw were a jogger and a dog walker, the dog walker looked at me like I was crazy 😂
