Benar beach campsite naturist section has been extended but heard talk about another naturist friendly campsite called Tony's further up the road anyone any ideas?
Hopefully they aren't confusing it with Glyn's field as I got the impression it was closer to the naturist section of the beach.

So where is Shell island in relation to Morfa?

Drive about 3 miles north of the turning for Dyffryn to the small village of llanbedra, turn left before the river bridge and drive about a mile to the large campsite which is Shell island,  the road is flooded at some high tides. Alternatively walk north from the naturist beach for about 40 minutes.
Probably one of the largest campsites in UK.

hi being new this is the closest beach and only one i've been to been 3or4 times this year and puzzled by this talk of meerkats what do you all mean

Meercats is a term used to refer to people, usually single males who creep along the top of the dunes, usually hiding in the grass peering at people who are sunbathing on the beach below, this may include the use of binoculars or cameras.
The bobbing up and down has been likened to the habit of the animals, hence the description meercats.

thanks thought it might be something like that the last time i went, there was quite a strong breeze, so i went up in the dunes where it was a bit more sheltered. one or two clothed  men got a bit of a shock when they came across me even though i'ed put my parasol up for folks to see ;D

we used to go to  morffa dyffryn beck loads but since we have a dog now we don't go as often. we still go and love it there the people are very friendly and you are made welcome to talk to anyone. david and steve 

I really like Morffa and usually try to visit each August when seeing friends in North Wales.
I find it peaceful and friendly.
Usually warmer water than Studland too.

Spent a week at Morfa in August last year.  It really is a great beach and was full of friendly people.  wasn't keen on the meerkats popping their heads up in the dunes but easily forgotten once relaxing on this great beach.  ☀️
