I have no idea where fire gate No6 is located.  If you are suggesting I park my motorcycle there, I assume this fire gate is somewhere along the main road.

If I find it, is parking safe for a bike, or am I subject to the same risks as cars are at being vandalised etc, (or doesn't that happen now).  I would rather prefer to find my bike with both of its wheels still on it. This is why I thought the main NT car park would be safer.
Ive had one pride and joy stolen already. I will try Google maps to find fire gate No6.

I'm inclined to very much agree with you. We always use the National Trust car park at Knoll Beach, feeling it's somewhat more secure than by the side of the road by the fire break.

From the NT car park and if you're reasonably fit, you can get to the naturist area, which is clearly signposted, in a bit less than 15 minutes. A tip would be to walk along the water's edge where the sand is firmer, and therefore much easier going than the soft sand.

The first part of the naturist section you come to from Knoll Beach is very family-friendly.

Unless you're a member, there's obviously a charge at the NT car park - but worth it in our view. And there are toilets, showers, a shop, cafe and NT visitor centre - all with a pleasant vibe, which I suspect your wife might appreciate.

You have convinced me to use the NT car park.  With all the facilities available we cant go wrong.
My Wife and I are good for walking, and 15 minutes or so is no problem.
We will only use our motorcycle at Studland owing to the huge traffic queues awaiting the ferry which we will need to use.  Also it would be a lovely ride there and back on a warm summers day.
All we need now is some good weather.
