Another way to meditate is while walking, just being fully aware of each step, one  at a time. There are so many ways to approach this activity. Relaxation can be an outcome of meditaion but it is not the aim.
Recently we have been looking after our grandchildren and I find it very mindful activity, as is gardening, cooking a meal, swimming...... there are so many ways.
A lot has been said recently about mindfulness in the general media, this can be a way to destress, and reduce anxiety.
For myself being mindfully aware of the various activities I undertake, such as naturism,  helps me to experience the connection between self and nature.
Meditation need not be an intellectual practice;it`s very simple and down to earth.

Being naked is one of the simple joys of life.

The whole idea of meditation is to try to eliminate all those day to day things that constantly pop into your mind.

Many people devote their lives to this endeavour and the very act of trying, whether successful or not has its own benefits.
