My advice to you is just try it. In my experience you will never find anything which does more to actually boost your self confidence. I was never very self confident with my body. I felt I was too fat and so on a textile beach I would always wear big baggy shorts and a t-shirt. Despite that I was still interested in naturism. I gave it a go and found that naked I didn't have anything like the same hang-ups. In fact I discovered 2 things: 1 I wasn't as fat as I thought, there are plenty fatter and 2 it doesn't really matter. It's not about that it's about something much deeper than appearance.

So steel yourself the first time and give it a go. I'm sure no matter your height, or weight or anything else about your appearance you worry about you will find acceptance from both others and yourself in naturism.

I was worried about size too, then when I became a naturist, realised I had nothing to worry about!

You'll see plenty bigger than yours, but plenty smaller too so there's no need to be concerned. Remember also that us chaps always look at our own bits from a different angle than others and this tends to make us think they're smaller than they actually are.

Once you get into conversation with other naturists, you will notice it's all about eye contact, and we're not 'checking each other out' anyway.

I say just do it and let us know how you get on. You could try Clover Spa!

Regarding size or whatever, just remember it's not a competition. You go as you are and that's all go can do.

When I went to my first swim, I very nearly didn't go in at all. I went in thinking try it once and if I don't like it, then I don't have to do it again.

I'm a photographer and for one reason or another have shot over 500 guys from 18-78 naked.
Statistically you ain't likely to be the smallest or the largest so don't worry.
A friend of mine who is somewhat larger than average tends to get some feedback especially when he's at the gay nude disco in London.  His stock answer is "I grew it all myself!"
Point is, nothing you can do about it and in naturist world, no-one really gives a damn!

My friend Richard used to walk into a club and they would say here comes little Dickie, His stock answer was..... Aye, but it filled three bloody Prams. and everyone would laugh.

Size is immaterial to a naturist, the only time I have had any comment was when a girl in pre naturist younger life said "Oh you have a smaller one than my last boyfriend" and left me to believe she was looking for something bigger, so I let her go on her way, after enjoying myself of course ;D

The only person who needs to love your body is yourself, its the only one you have, why not love it.  🙂

If you refer to nezzo80's introduction, I think he was referring to his stature! Unfortunately, whilst most people would not dream on commenting on somebody's physical appearance, they feel that they can have free-reign on trying to humiliate them because of their height-the culprits are often no taller themselves!

Being 6 ft 2, all my adult life I have had comments about being tall (Yes! People actually tell me I'm tall, as if I hadn't noticed!) and what's the weather like up there, etc.

But just think for a moment. If I went up to someone 5 ft nothing and said, "Wow! Aren't you short? How short are you?" I'd never hear the end of it!

I am afraid that people do! Once I was about to address a meeting and the chairman thought it was hilarious to interject" There is no need to stand up- oh, you are standing up!" I was around 5ft 7ins ,but he felt superior being taller.

I had assumed the reference was to height, which was why I mentioned it in my original reply. I subsequently thought I must be a compete dufus to have missed something others seem to have seen. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought it was height.

On being tall I'm 6 ft 3 In and quite broadly built I've also had the comments about my height and general size. Once when I walked into a pub a patron was heard to comment "my god big foot's not dead" imagine his surprise when my friend walked in a few minutes later to meet me. He's 6 Ft 7 In!

I think we all understand your nervousness, Nezza, but I guarantee that two minutes after standing out naked you'll be wondering what all the fuss was about and why you hadn't done it sooner. 😀
