G and H, that's incredible! I've a good mind to make one - not necessarily naturist though as I've just done the Blurb one - but its too good an offer to miss!
GlennCoe - yes, all the photos were taken with cameras. I have never minded taking them to the beach as I rather take the attitude that there's no point in having one if you don't use it! I have a Canon 500D and Rosie has a 550D, but last year I bought her a little Olympus TG850, mainly to use on horseback in case she dropped it from the horse into a puddle! Its 16 megapixels, sits in a clip on her belt ready for instant use and she really doesn't have to worry about it, but the images are nowhere near as good as the Canon ones. Presumably because of the size of the lens - but that applies to phones as well! Our friend takes all her photos with a phone, but the quality is very poor compared with that of a proper camera. I have actually made a photobook of photos they took on a ride last year, and Rosie's taken with the TG850 are 100% better than her friend's, taken using her phone.

Hi R & J,
Whilst I'm not a fantastic photographer nor have I a collection of naturist photographs to make a year book, I have taken to using "Publisher" to create a record of my past travels. Given the various software and quality papers now available, the results have been better than I expected. I recently found a friendly book-binder who put together a few copies for friends. I had two hard covered and block printed and six with board covers. The results looked quite professional and were much appreciated by family recipients.
Keith.
Hello Keith!
Not sure what is involved - did you print the photos yourself, or did the book-binder do them? I have a b&w laser printer for personal use. My pc has for some reason given up connecting to the business' professional colour laser, so photo printing for me isn't an option. I imagine a properly printed and bound book will anyway be vastly more expensive than the mass-produced ones on the net? I'm at the moment putting together one of the £8 A4 ones (of fully-clothed photos!) mentioned by Graeme & Heather, as a present for a friend.
John.
Update - Friday 18th August. The book arrived this morning from Blurb and we're delighted with it! The quality is excellent, and as I have said it only cost £30ish including an additional e-version in pdf format for mailing to friends, viewing on the pc etc.
So that proves naturist photobooks are a possibility after all!
I've been a lucky recipient of a copy that is both professional looking and high quality images. This is obviously the way to go. I'll bear it in mind following a short break at the West Highland Retreat and an upcoming week in Charco del Palo.
In case anyone is interested, I used Blurb again yesterday. I had an offer of 40% discount on photobooks and made one of Rosie and her sister as a Christmas present for brother-in-law. It was a trifle hurried this time as I didn't see the offer until the day it was due to expire!
A few of the photos are clothed but most are nude, and hopefully most are a bit artistic rather than just holiday snaps - although there are one or two of the latter to set the scene as it were.
Again with discount the damage was only just over £30 including a pdf version which arrived within the hour!
John.
Pixum Photo Books might be worth trying.
G&J
Both mtphotobook and bobsbooks offer 40% discount on quite a regular basis. I have at least one book printed a year for myself and a couple more of work done for other people, including weddings. Naturist and non sexual nudes have never been a problem at all. The software is quite simple to use and I'm very impressed with the quality. I do think it's worth thinking about the old saying, "You get 'owt for nowt". Hope I've spelt that right!
Perhaps a first book should be a small one to test out the quality, ease of production and time taken to deliver. There are so many options, and I can only give my opinions of those I have tried.

Apple has an album/card publishing service built into its Photos software (see https://www.apple.com/uk/macos/print-products/ for more information). I don't know if a naturist album would be accepted though - the terms and conditions are here: https://www.apple.com/internetservices/terms/membership_terms.html .
This includes the following:
Although Apple encourages you to use the Services to express your creativity, Apple reserves the right to refuse to process any order submitted by you containing Content that Apple, in its sole discretion, deems abusive, defamatory, obscene, in violation of copyright or trademark laws, or otherwise offensive, illegal, inappropriate or unacceptable, including any material Apple believes may cause any liability for it under any applicable law or regulation, or which may cause Apple to lose the services of any supplier may provide part as of the Services or in connection with fulfilling any order for Products. In particular, Apple reserves the right to refuse to process orders containing Content which, in Apple’s sole opinion, contains expressions of abuse, offensive language or images, obscenity or pornography (including but not limited to child abuse or child pornography, and/or depictions of minors engaged in sexual conduct or explicitly sexual situations).
It doesn't explicitly rule out simple nakedness, but then someone might argue that it's 'offensive'.
I have just had a calendar done on Vistaprint, no problem at all. Only little 'watch out' is that images used in a printed product can't be deleted from your album on the website, though Vistaprint do reassure customers that photos are secure and can only be seen by the owner.
I would be very surprised if many, if any photo book services would turn down printing a book with naturist images.
R.B.
As there are many nudist calendars and many people do get naked on holiday so I suspect at the moment no issue, as long as there are no, mmmm 'rude' - I use that term with some hesitation but meaning sexual content - then most I think now will take nudity as just people without clothes - however, I would not be surprised that very soon this will change and any hint of nudity will be prevented - there are more and more cases of 'sexual' harassment and new privative laws (GDPR) so I suspect many companies will take a very safe legal route for the next few years.
Hi all
We have loads of naturist pictures of us taken over the years which we would love to make into an album
We have used photo box and Tesco in the past for our non naturist albums just wondering who other have used and if this has caused any hassles etc
The pictures are just normal naturist pics of us having fun - no sexual content just us naked
Thanks for any thoughts

[gmod]We have merged this with a recent topic about making an album of naturist photos.[/gmod]
We have asked uphotogifts; the company we use for our photo books, if they are OK with printing naturist photos.
Will let you know their response.
