I don't think I'll be doing a walk tomorrow, I've got lots to sort out before I go away at the weekend. Once I'm back from my holiday I'll certainly be in touch though.

Was up early this morning so was out at 6.30 am. What a beautiful morning it was so peaceful after a couple of stressful days.

I had a 10 mile walk this morning. I only met one person, he said it was too hot for him, wonder if he stripped off after he left me. Bet not that's too simple.

I was out walking today I walked 22 miles naked. However as people approached me i put my bag in front of me to hopefully avoid any confrontation. That worked very well for the half a dozen or so people I met. Except for one cyclist who cycled past me at speed saying put some clothed on you dirty (the word begins with f and ends with er and it is a sexual act). I have no idea why he said that because I had a shower this morning and I was not involved in any sexual activity. Funny what some people say and that is the attitude you need if you are going to walk naked on your own. It is inevitable that from time to time you are going to get some adverse comments even if you cover yourself. If you are not doing anything wrong its not your problem its theirs , just keep yourself safe.

Totally agree gildo, walked the coastal path by monknash in s wales the other week, deciding to carry on further than I normally do as the tide was in.  Literally ten minutes into the walk I see a man and women jogging towards me with their dogs, I timed it so I was through the gate and going away from them by the time they got to the gate, I shouldn't have worried as I heard the man shout "I love it just make sure you don't get burnt!" I turned around to them both with smiles on their faces and I thanked them and wished then a good run. The positives far out way the negative comments I have had, just a little bit of common sense goes a long way.

Don't get me wrong I get loads of positive comments and meet some very friendly people who often stop and chat. It is so nice when it happens, its just a shame that the nasties cant see how the friendly majority are. If the could they would see how silly they are with their nasty coments.

Are you more likely to get negative comments when alone? We have done a few group walks in the UK now and not had a negative comment and some positive ones.
I am not up to walking alone as yet but as a m/f couple I would like to think all would be fine.

We had a really good walk in Sherwood a few weeks ago with Gildo and thoroughly enjoyed it. We are thinking of walking next week probably Friday, possibly Wednesday. Have has to PM's a few weeks ago of 2 who may wish to join us.

PS Can't believe those days will be in August. Time flies,  so 'must make hay ....'

I have been walking along the Trent bank aline on the Nottinghamshire side fairly regularly, but have always been very cautious about being seen, even though I very rarely meet anyone. I have been following this thread and have nothing but admiration for those of you who have broadened it out in the forest. I think it is time for me to pluck up courage to walk with someone and perhaps get the benefit of strength in numbers. If you do decide to go for a walk next week, please let me know when and where. I'll do my best to join you.

I’m on holiday at the moment but before I went had started walking nude, alone for about three weeks. I have only walked past one person while nude and didn’t have a bad reaction. I have had a couple walk past while skinny dipping, one ignored me ( I said hello) and I think he had seen me as I dipped into the water, the other was more friendly making a joke about his dog wanting to join me in the stream, don’t know of he knew I was skinny dipping. I’ve often thought it might seem less odd to people i& I wasn’t on my own.

I went on an 8 mile naked walk in Sherwood Forest this afternoon, it was very hot and quite humid but it felt quite nice as I had noting on. After walking about 5 miles and seeing no one I turned at a junction and noticed a woman walking behind me about 20 yds away. I just kept walking as I was planning on turning left after about 15 yds. I took the turn expecting the woman to take one of the other turns but she didn’t. She continued to follow me. So I slowed a little to see if she would catch up with me and it was clear she was not slowing down and she was soon only about 10 yds behind me at which point I just turned my head, smiled and said hello. She returned the smile and hello, so I stopped for her to catch up with me. As she got closer I got an ice breaker in by saying what a quick walker she was, then asked her if she minded if I walked with her for a while. She said that’s ok and we walked and talked for the next two miles. She had never encountered a naturist before and didn’t know anything about it, so I enlightened her especially about the health and body image benefits. By the time we parted she knew everything anyone could want to know about naturism and I knew her name where she lived things about her family who she normally walks with and more. By the time we parted it felt as if we had known each other for some time. I have no idea if she will try naturism but hopefully she will be more open to it if the opportunity arises. I walked on and a little later passed about a dozen people men and woman just off the path I was on. I just carried on, said hello and gave a little wave which was returned with smiles. I just love it when I get reactions like this when I am naked, it feel so much more honest than covering up, which can be a double edge sword. It can look as if you are being considerate or it can look as if you are covering up because you feel you are doing something wrong.

I'm on holiday at present and in the last week walked naked on the Mossel on the Rhine and in the Black Forest. Yesterday I was in the Bohimian Forest in the Czech republic where I'll be for a couple of days before heading to Austria. The forests here are vast and you can walk for hours, must watch for bears and wolves though apparently.

I have just had a 7 ¾ mile walk in Sherwood Forest with another naturist. There weren’t many people around and we didn’t take anything with us to cover up with. We met a guy with his two young sons, he smiled said hello and looked very friendly. A couple with a dog who stopped and talked with us for a little while. They didn’t know it wasn’t illegal to be naked in public but didn’t have a problem anyway. Of course I told them that it was not illegal. The guy said the only problem he had was he didn’t know where to look, I just told him not to worry about it and he and the woman he was with were fine.  As we turned off a path there was an elderly couple just behind us I just turned my head and said hello and we carried on walking. We walked past a guy talking on his mobile with a dog, he smiled and nodded as we passed him. We walked a little way on a cycle track and saw a family with children in front of us, however we were due to turn off the track so didn’t actually meet them although they could see us before we turned off and after. There did not appear to be a problem with them. A very enjoyable walk and it just feels so right to just carry on as if we were dressed without covering up.

I was a bit worried about the man talking to the dog on his mobile until I re-read it correctly. s:
