I have been out every evening for the past week. I don't get out before 4 pm due to work which gives me about a hour and a half before dark.

It's been a bit chilly at times, especially today was down to 4 degrees when I returned to the car but very enjoyable.   Frost was forming underfoot as I returned.

Hopefully might be earlier tomorrow as it's Friday, we'll see.

Went for a 5.25 naked walk in Sherwood Forest this afternoon. It was fairly sunny, quite windy but at 7 degrees C felt ok. I saw a couple with a sheep dog looking dog about 25 meters away from me as I walked passed. I was walking away from them when I heard him shout at the dog. I turned round and it was running straight at me barking menacingly. I did my usual thing, bent towards it with my arms slightly in front of my body kept calm and spoke calmly to it while it was leaping towards me as if it was going to bite., but i didn't flinch and each time it stopped short of biting me. Eventually it stopped and looked as if it didn't know what to do, then it turned and I thought it was going away. It took a few steps and then turned on me again. we went through this routine about 3 times before it eventually went back to its owners. They were still some distance away and shouted their apologies. I just waved and went on my way. this is nit the first time I have had encounters with dogs like this, I never know how it is going to end but so far things have ended ok. With this incident I could see that the dog had just taken off on its own and the owners had no chance of stopping it. I guess you could say they should never let it off the lead. A little later a cyclist came past me from behind and as he passed he said isn't it a little cold for that sunny. (I think I could have been old enough to be his dad). Later on I came across Chloe the warden who was out with about a dozen helpers so I went over and had a little chat with her. There were a few other people in the distance as I returned back to my car and a guy sat in his van watched me get into my car to drive home. Another lovely walk before the bad weather comes in over the next few days.

I was out today at the tail end of the storm. The Forest felt eerily quiet despite the wind. There was very little bird song and no sighting of the usual deer or elk.

The ground was sodden with large pools everywhere. There wasn't a soul about, I felt as if I was the only person around, definitely the only naked one.

A totally enjoyable experience and the nights are drawing out too.

Think I found my limit today. A very chilly 2 degrees and then it snowed.

Might give it a rest this week give the ground time to dry up, was like a boating lake out there today.

I know what you mean. I was up in my hills this morning walking naked in the first snow of the winter. My skin was like a lobster's. 45 mins later i reached a very exposed area so got dressed. Another 45 mins later I got undressed again and walked naked for the rest of the journey. The last 15 mins was walking directly into a 30mph headwind which made the wind chill t!ake the temperature down to minus 9c. It was pretty tough but i kept a very close eye on my body and would have got dreesed immediately anything untoward happened.

Hats off to you guys, its too cold for me. I can imagine how wet it is in the forest. I went after we had a frost and then some rain, it was really slippy in places. Roll on the warmer weather again soon.

Just back from a 4 mile naked walk in Sherwood  forest. The ground is very wet and slippy. Not many people around but those I met were very pleasant. It was 7 degrees C but felt ok as long as I kept moving.

Not been out for 11 days now and it's getting me down.

Funny thing is I've been full of cold all week and had my clothes on. Will be out tomorrow if it's not raining.

I know how you feel, I haven't been out for days. I am going for a meeting tomorrow in Nottingham to discuss the arrangements for a naked picnic in the park in Nottingham when the weather improves.

Sounds interesting!

I managed to get out today, feel so much better now. Was a bit windy but nice if you could keep out of it.

At last, I managed to get out for a 6 mile naked walk in the forest today at about 2 pm. It was very windy but at 13 degrees C it felt ok. Wow is it wet and muddy out there. the ground is totally waterlogged. No problem though as I can just wade through it in my walking sandals with no socks. There weren't many people about, probably about half a dozen and a couple behind me and someone in a van as I got back into my car. Everyone was very friendly and I kept dry until the heavens opened about a quarter of a mile away from returning to my car. It felt great in the wind and even in the rain, I never tire of the wonderful sensation of being out in nature.

I don't know how we do not bump into each other. I too was out yesterday, about 4pm though. I was caught in a short shower but enjoyed the walk just the same.

I have been out again this afternoon and managed to get caught in the hail storm, hail stones the size of peas and quite painful to be honest. Was a new experience for me but not one I want to repeat anytime soon. It was 2 degrees when I got back to the car and feeling quite chilly.

@tribalbrit

I think you go out a little later than me. I try to catch the warmest part of the day. I would like a walk with you when the weather warms up a bit though. I have tried walking in hail in the past, not something I am keen to do again. As you have discovered, it hurts a lot. I need to walk at about 4 mph or above to keep warm below 10 degrees C especially if its windy. Roll on warmer dryer less windy weather soon, its not looking great for the next few days.

I can only get out after work, although I do prefer it then anyway as it's quieter.

Yes we'll have to get together once the sun comes out.

I was off work today and went out at 2 pm. it was glorious for about an hour and then the heavens opened I was glad to be carrying my clothes which I hastily put on and headed for home, dropped cold very quickly too.

Might give it a break for a bit now as the forecast isn't great for a while. Having said that, if I walk the dog I can't help myself. 🙄

@tribalbrit

I almost went out at 2 pm but checked the forecast and decided against it. I know what you mean I sometimes go out with no intention of stripping off but I just cant resist it, then usually find its not as cold as I thought it was going to be. Look forward to meeting up some time.
