You are obviously brighter than me, never looked at forecast. Was off work, dog needed a walk, excuse to get out naked.
Lovely to see you today tribalbrit, I wondered how long it would be before we bumped into each other. I met a few people who were very pleasant. The first guy I met a few yards from my car smiled and said aha the first one today. I met a couple with three little dogs that were very noisy and their owners put them on leads as soon as they saw me. I just made a joke about them looking very hungry. Later on I found myself walking behind them. This time they didn't put the dogs on leads and I got the chance to make friends with them after a few noisy minutes. I took the opportunity to tell them I wasn't following them and they told me not to worry its fine. It was a lovely afternoon although it got a little cool as the sun disappeared. I walked about 6 miles and was on the look out for frog spawn. It always appears on the 1st March in the water filled ruts in the paths. I found loads. On my way back to the car I met another naturist enjoying the late sunshine while walking. He has been walking the area for some time now, and he is on my facebook walking group. Little did the first guy I met know there were three naturists out walking this afternoon.
Great to meet you too Gildo. . I can't tell you how chuffed I was to actually see another naturist while out walking today and was delighted it was you. I saw about seven people after our meeting which had instilled extra confidence in me knowing I was not alone out there and they'd more than likely caught site of you before seeing me.
I got back to my car about 5.15 and yes it was dropping chilly fast.
If you want some frog spawn let me know, although an old wise chap once told me it wont hatch if moved from where it was laid.
Hope to meet again in the coming warmer months.
Glad you enjoyed your walk, we will arrange a walk as it gets warmer. Thank you for the offer of frog spawn, I already have some. You can tell your wise old man that moving frog spawn does not affect it at all. For years I have collected it from muddy puddles which dry up before it hatches and put it in larger bodies of water and it always survives.
At the risk of introducing topic creep, I vividly recall when children my sister bringing home frogspawn in a jar from the common and putting it in a bowl of water in the back garden. We gleefully followed the hatching, the progress of the tadpoles, and the final emergence of thousands of tiny frogs which scattered around the garden, doubtless to the great delight of the local bird life. So yes, frogspawn does travel.

Was out again this afternoon, it was a barmy 12 degrees and strangely didn't see anyone else. Bliss.
Came across this today on trip adviser.
Some people ?
Lol at the comment on the wellies not being a good pair.
That's interesting I wonder who the female walker is and where she walks. I would love to meet her.
Sounds as though she would not be too keen to meet you!!

I think he meant the naked female walker. My first thought was that was unusual, we normally hear about naked men wandering about frightening the horses; all power to whoever she is. Of course even highlighting it was a she is probably grounds for accusations of sexism in some shape or form ... 🙄

Don't know but I have never seen her. Sounds like she walks the muddy areas given the wellies.
Thanks PJcomp and sorry Gildo - Yes I got the wrong end of the stick! Silly me!!
