Yes she is I met her a couple of days ago while out walking. She lives in Edwinstowe so can be in the forest in a few minutes. I have called her a few times over the years about things and she has been there very quickly.

Went to look what mess they'd left behind yesterday, same again, bottles, cans and other rubbish, a camping chair and a ground sheet hanging from a tree, also a bong, stuffed behind a tree, so not only are they dick heads they are drug taking dick heads.

I phoned Chloe today but the RSPB do not cover that area, It belongs to The Forestry Commission,  she will however pass it on to their warden though and take a look for herself too. She did say speak to 101 but I don't know if there's any point in that.

It has been quite busy out there this week, now Boris says we can travel further there has been a lot more cars parked up. Bumping into more folk as well. A couple of twitches were quite surprised to see me yesterday and were a bit off, till the female recognised my dog from a previous meeting, me clothed. She was a bit more relaxed then. Still loads out on bikes too.

Well done, did you tell her that you are a naturist or mention that I had advised you to ring her?              I had a nice 4.25 naked walk this morning, it was a little cooler than I expected but still very nice. There were lots of cars parked at the parking spot but I think they must all head towards the Major Oak as there were only a few bird watchers around Budby, every one was very nice.

Yes I told Chloe that you had given me her number so she asked if I was a naturist too. I said I was yes.

She was also telling me that naturist have been reported/objected to walking close to the Major Oak. I assured her it wasn't us two. She thinks it's probably someone not local.

So I would ask if anyone else on NC. Is walking Sherwood Forest can you please steer clear of the touristy part. Stay to the North or West of it. Could spoil it for everyone otherwise.

I did about 7 miles this evening, lovely in the sun,bit cold out of it, a cold wind.

Still great though.

Yesterday afternoon was insanely busy, kids on bikes everywhere. Chilly wind.

Went out later today 6 till 8 pm. Nowhere near as busy, no wind and really quite warm.

Had a dog fox barking for 20 minutes as we passed through his territory,  makes the hairs on your neck stand up, dog didn't like it much either. Not as bad as the vixens scream though.

No sign of the yobs since Tuesday. Not sure whether to clear the mess up again or not, they won't be using their bong again though, put my foot through it, oh dear. 🤭

I went to look at the parking situation and it was obvious as cars were parked everywhere that it was very busy on Saturday, so I gave it a miss this week end. Pity because 3 others wanted a walk as well. Hoping to get out this week though as the forecast is very good for a few days.

@dgildoo

Okay hopefully they'll stop getting complaints about it.

Car Park on Swine Coat Road was busy again today. 5 pm. I went round to the water works and only one other car parked up. Had a lovely walk over the common and then off into the woods saw a few  out but not to many, strangely given the amount of cars parked up.

Think I managed to have my photo took yesterday, as I crossed the common a couple came out from the side of me, I smiled and carried on as you do, later I turned to shout the dog just as the guy was lowering his camera, still he got my best side, my back.

Met the friendly lady dog walker again this evening and stood chatting for 15 minutes or so. I don't think she sees as naked anymore.

I had a lovely walk this afternoon, think the wind kept most folk away, was quite warm though to be honest.

As I crossed over the two cattle grids on the common I could see a woman with a small dog about 150 metres ahead of me, she kept turning round and obviously spotted me so I slowed a little then low and behold a naked bloke came the other way and passed her head on. She must have thought WTF. there's two of them.

That's two naked people I have met in the last three months. We stopped and chatted for 5 minutes.

I told Bill I'd tell you that I'd met him David.

Saw him again about an hour later as we both headed in different directions out of the forest.

Met Bill again on Saturday, bloody marvellous you don't see a naturist for years then they all come along at once.

Was out on Monday evening and could not believe the amount of bird watches out. I must have passed 20. Googled it when I returned home, apparently they are looking for Night Jars.

Yesterday was the first time I've not been out this year. Was first day back at work and just didn't feel like it.

Was back to normal today, didn't go out till 6 pm, the evening sun over the common was great, I love it. Returning to the car about 8.30 pm, again there were at least half a dozen bird watches looking on as I strolled across the common. There's something about that time of day when it's warm that I love.

Lets hope the weather continues.

I had a nice 6 mile naked walk this morning. I saw another naturists car when I parked up and expected to see him. While walking I saw what looked like 2 naked people and I made my way over to them shouting to them occasionally. When I got closer I realised they were wearing flesh coloured clothes. OOOPs . I met a few people, one couple were looking at a map as if they didn't know where they were, so I asked them if they wanted to know anything and they did not know where they were. So I gave them directions to get to were they wanted to be. Everyone was friendly except for one cyclist who came from behind and told me I would get locked up as it is illegal to be naked. I told him he was wrong and advised him to look on the internet. As he passed me on his bike he said social distancing to which I replied you are passing me too closely. He didn't hang around and he wasn't really nasty just one of those who thinks he knows everything. On the way back to the car I met another naturist who walked back to the car with me

According to the latest Covid rules we can now meet up to 6 people so I am happy to arrange a small group walk if anyone is interested,

Was out again this evening and met a couple on the common, he naked.

That's 3 naturists I have met since March. Didn't think to ask his name.

Loads of bird watches out again, on the common.

Another enjoyable walk. Sat on back garden now 10 pm having a bbq super.
