@gildo lucky indeed. Normally with munitions its a much higher profile - local news and nationl news involved when the area is cleared for the MOD to normally blow up such items.
My friend used to collect the live rounds and take them home. He would put them in a vice and using a punch and hammer fire them through his dad's garage. This was a from similar site near Burton on Trent.
this reminds me of fond memories visiting my dads barracks. I would be either on the range emptying a clip or playing on a bofors gun.
Stressed when dressed
Was out there myself today, pushing at the edges of the weather I'll go out in. Fairly quiet, just a couple of dogwalkers and cheerful greetings. That might be it for me until the winter has passed.
Be wary of brambles etc. Make sure the wounds are cleansed. It took me four bouts of cellulitis and three bouts of sepsis before I got sensible and sanitise often.
Bit nippy out there today, then it rained and got cold. Strangely not many people about, quite a few cars parked up though.
Quite pleased I saw no one, might have ended up in an institution somewhere otherwise.
5 degrees but I managed a little more than an hour before dressing again.
Only the one bramble attack today, they seem to jump out of nowhere.
Just back from a 4.5 mile naked walk in Sherwood Forest. It was a cool 6 degrees C with a wind chill of 3 degrees C, the sun was shining and it felt very pleasant walking at 4 mph. There were very few people around and I only passed one woman with a dog and she smiled and said hello. The forestry workers have been busy again ripping up trees and bushes and muddying the paths with their machinery. It was very nice to be able to get out again though after all the wet weather we have been having.
It was a beautiful afternoon today with lots of sunshine and a temperature of 12 degrees C. I just had to go out for a 6 mile naked walk in Sherwood Forest. There weren't many people about and I only met one birdwatcher a naturist who said he had just put his clothes on and a guy with a dog. As the guy with the dog approached me he said its a bit cold for that isn't it. I thought perhaps this wasn't going to be a pleasant encounter. However I just smiled and said hello the weather is just perfect for walking. He beamed at me and said good on yer, I don't blame you , enjoy, with both thumbs in the air. It is lovely at this time of year to be able to get out when the weather is like this but the forecast is not great for the next week or so, but you never know it might just get out nice again

This has appeared on Edwinstowe Together face book page today. Quite worrying if true.
@tribalbrit Yes it is worrying if true. I have posted it on other naturist social media sites. He needs to be caught asap
Can't recall seeing anyone out there who matches that description, probably avoids men I suppose(?). Massive credit to the woman who made the Facebook post, she sees the difference between him and us, it could have been interpreted another way.
On the whole some positive replies on there today.
One guy pointed out to the OP that there is a difference between a male nudist and a naked male. She then apologised saying she has no problem with the naturists that walk the area but this guy is a pervert.
Can't say I remember seeing anyone of that description.
@tribalbrit Chloe the warden is back working for the RSPB after having her maternity leave and she contacted me today to keep me in the loop with what has been going on regarding this incident. The local council and the police have been notified as well as all of the wardens for Sherwood Forest including head office. It is good to note that throughout the correspondence there is recognition that this behaviour has nothing to do with naturism and I have also responded that the naturist community are really sorry to hear what has happened to the lady who has been subjected to this behaviour and those of us who walk the area regularly will help identify the individual if possible. So if you see this guy or anyone else acting illegally please phone the police and inform the RSPB or let me know and I will inform them. Lets work together to keep everyone safe.
Will do David thanks for the info.
I will keep my eyes open. Sorry to say this does not sound like the guy I have previously had dealings with which means there are two perverts out there.
