Two of us had a lovely 7 mile naked walk today. in Sherwood forest. I expected it to be fairly busy but the were very few people around. Those we met were very pleasant, the sun shone nearly all the time and it felt lovely and warm.

@dgildoo

I intended to go out today but after having my fourth covid jab this morning I've not been able to stay awake, only now feeling normal again.

Had a brief one yesterday, somehow with the tacit official recognition of our right to be there it feels easier to walk Sherwood on supposedly busy bank holiday weekends than it is other places where we don't have such back-up. As it happened no busier than usual, 5 miles, saw about half a dozen people, no issues. Was surprised by a woman and I guess her teenage daughter who emerged from a behind a tree on the common, it wasn't close enough to interact but I overheard them asking each other if it was legal and then laughing. I'll always take that as a relatively good reaction.

Saw the cows, seems like fewer of them than some years.

Well I was right about the new bench next to the cattle grids. A couple sat there as I walked up this afternoon and bugger me another couple sat there as I returned more than an hour later. No worries though.

Quite a nice evening 4 till 6 looked like rain but didn't. Play dodge the cow pat now and stop the dog from eating them of rolling in them. 😏

@tribalbrit

I thought about it but talking with others, previously, I came to the conclusion that if there was any trouble with the public I'd be outnumbered and wouldn't have anyone to back me up. People exaggerate and even tell lies. I prefer to walk with others

@gildo Thanks for that, I'm sorry I missed him. I'm still not able to use FB so I'd got no communication with anyone
