I like a few members, like walking nude in the country, whether its in the day or late in the evening. One member, stated in another post, that he left his clothes and car keys in a trunk of a tree. When he returned they were gone. He mentioned, when he got back to his car, the said clothes and keys were in his car?
So, this make me wonder, "Where do people leave their clothes".
For me, it depends on where I am. I usually am fully clothed when leaving the car. In my early years, when there were no mobile phones, I used to, put all my clothes in a plastic bag and hide them. I always took my keys with me. So I had no way of covering up if I came across anyone. To be fair, I only came across people on very few occasions. But I made sure I did not offend them and hid or quickly covered myself with my hand.
In later years, I usually still wait until I am in the woods or forest before I take my clothes off, but I have a backpack to put something on if needed. I am also carrying my car keys, wallet and phone, so there is no chance of someone else picking them up.
So, what do others do with their clothes when they are on a walk?
I don't do walks, but on my naked holiday cycle rides I usually take a camera, phone for emergencies and water bottte so I have a backpack in which I can put clothes.
On other occasions, if I am not going far, I will leave the apartment naked taking absolutely nothing with me.

if im organised ill have a shoulder bag with dslr and a couple of lenses, wallet , phone and car keys go in the bag. ill leave the vehicle just wearing shorts a shirt and sandals. so shorts and shirt can also go in the bag. sometimes ill only take a kiniki beach wrap(like a flimsy mini skirt) depends on how busy the parking area is. theres also room for water and nibbles.
on occasions i do a spur of the moment walk, the beach wrap is always in the glove box and theres a pair of cased binoculars in the door pocket. the beach wrap goes in the bino case along with wallet ,keys and phone.
I normally leave my shirt on a tree and carry my shorts with keys etc in shorts pocket
On my 3am walks from home the clothes stay indoors. On my country walks I have a rucksack with drinks and picnic, so clothes (shorts and t-shirt) go in there.

I am the same use a knapsack so clothes go in there.
I shove my t-shirt in my shorts pocket along with car keys and dog lead, roll the shorts up as small as possible and off I go, shorts in hand just in case.
Because I walk for many miles over moors and hills i carry a rucksack so i have dog food and drink, water and a snack together with gloves and first aid kit. Just enough space left over for my clothes 🙂
If I am running I fold my best and shorts into my cap and carry that in my hand. Prefer the option to cover up if need arises.
Some people favour leaving their clothes somewhere so they’re walking “without a safety net”, but however well hidden the clothes may be I’d worry about some well-meaning soul (probably a dog walker, dogs find everything) would hand them in to the poilice as lost property. And even worse, the police could then launch a manhunt fearing some sort of lost soul. A pleasant naked walk spoiled by tracker dogs and a helicopter rescue attempt.

The consensus seems to be either in a backpack or locked in the car.

For me these days. a backpack all the time.
Yeah, always backpack, a little bit for me it feels like it signifies your intentions a wee bit - i.e. walking/hiking.
If you have a rucksack, peaked cap, walking poles and boots then it looks pretty normal except for forgetting your shorts.

A bit like: "Wear a hard hat, high viz vest, safety boots and carry a clipboard and you can go anywhere without being challenged."
