There's a sheep at 2:20 that's wandered in from a different flock....

Brigitte, did you have the same impression that I had, that one of the ewes looked definitely embarrassed - I was going to write "sheepish" 😉
Oh for God's sake............................................ ::) ::) ;D ;D
It's like the exodus scene in the Ten Commandments!

The market looks a lot more interesting than my local's pathetic excuse for one.

I reckon there's only one flock. There're all going round in a circle with different shepherds. The shepherds who have been round are in the nearest bistro!

Annie and I are looking forward to meeting a number of NC members at Bélézy this season. We should be there on and off from mid-April, and more or less full time in July and August. If you do visit Bélézy this year, let us know in advance: we are always happy to meet for a chat over a glass of sweet local wine, "Muscat de Beaumes de Venise".
Hi Jacques and Annie
We hope to see you again during the last couple of weeks in June. We've booked one of the Nautilhomes as we felt we'd like to be closer to the centre.

We're looking forward to that, Davie. Although at the moment we have no definite plan to go to Bélézy late in June, please let us know your precise dates, and we may well pop over. In any case we'll be at Bélézy earlier in June (5-10 June), in time for the "transhumance" (see Cherry and John's post).
The AGM of FFN (the French equivalent of BN) is taking place next week in Bélézy. Although the host is the resort of Bélézy, the Bélézy club (CNBP) is heavily involved, and as a Board member of CNBP I will be kept very busy then, like dozens of others.
They are expecting about 250 people to attend the AGM, and many of them will come accompanied, so that Bélézy will be almost as busy as in Summer, which is unusual in April.
As part of the entertainment provided ("l'animation" as we call it in French), my fellow-actors and myself will be giving a short theatrical performance next Friday afternoon - a series of short pieces, lasting about one hour. As the show will take place on the open air stage, and as my part involves being nude on stage for a couple of minutes I will definitely keep an anxious eye on the weather forecast.
I'm sure your meeting will be OK and I'm sure everyone here will wish that your part on-stage goes well and that the weather will remain clement.
We'll try our best to stop any bad weather in these islands reaching you.

The FFN Congress at work yesterday in the marquee that has been set up just behind the pigeon-tower at Bélézy.
For those who know Bélézy: Pascal, the manager, welcoming the Congress in front of the mas. The way everybody is dressed clearly shows that the hot days of the beginning of the week were over by then...
Some participants had made a point of getting their 2 CV out of the moth-balls and driving them to Bélézy to advertise the coming national meeting of naturist 2CV-owners at Bélézy (9-10 May). The grey one on the right is the one that is being totally coated in knitwear and that is going to be driven to Poland next Summer to the world meeting of 2CV lovers to bear the standard of French naturism.
Julie, the press officer of FFN, enjoying a moment of relaxation at Bélézy in-between phone calls and interviews with the press that is attending the Congress. This Saturday she has the hard task of welcoming the TV crew of "Le petit journal", France's prime satirical TV programme - and trying to divert their energy and wicked sense of humour into something positive for naturism!
many years ago we had a 2cv and also Dyane, but there is a car in the picture that I would really like , and that is the Mehari .
I keep saying "one day, one day " lol
Dick
It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .
The Citroën Méhari was indeed a great "minimal" car. Unfortunately they did not age very well, especially the plastic body. They were discontinued 30 years ago, so those on the market are between 30 and 50 years old. Like the 2CV these were cars that could be maintained by their owners - provided he had a good toolbox - (and perhaps with the help of the village blacksmith!).
