It's one of the few beaches I have used so...

Easy parking on the road by the beach. to find the naturist area turn right and keep going and going and going... Then naturists tend to gather from a point around halfway to the first small promontory that can be seen from the beach huts.

The beach is almost entirely pebbles; just the right size to be uncomfortable to walk on. At low water some sandy patches are exposed, but be aware that there is quite a large tidal range an leave your stuff up at the top of the beach.

The beach is backed by private land and so does not suffer from being overlooked by gongoozlers however there is sometimes a small flotilla of boats cruising up and down the beach with binoculars pointing shoreward.

Because the beach faces south east the sun tends to disappear behind the trees earlier in the day than on beaches that face more westerly however the alignment of the beach does provide some shelter from the prevailing south west winds.

I'm not a big beach fan but this is a nice quiet beach with a few friendly local naturists. i will use it again but because it is a reasonable walk to any facilities I'd recommend taking everything you will want with you.

Have fun,

Ian.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.

It's my nearest beach (15 miles) but have to admit I've never used it for nude sunbathing, only winter walks. With rising fuel prices, I'll probably give it a go this summer, though. There's also a half hourly bus service from Southampton.
There's a lovely small cafe where you join the beach - great for tea and toasted teacakes!
