I have to go down to Brighton during the week and am thinking of trying out Black rock. Does anyone have much experience of this beach? Is it as bad as a lot of reviews make out?

Whilst its not my favourite beach I have been a few times, and generally found it ok. Since you are going to Brighton anyway why not give it a try and see how you find it.

Another beach that is popular with naturists in the area is Portslade, which is two or three miles further west. Try both if you have the time !

Just had a look on nuff and the portslade beach sounds pretty good. Does this beach get much use during the week?

Yes there are normally a number of naturists there in the week. How many obviously depends on the weather, but on a reasonable day in the season you certainly won't have the beach to yourself.

Black rock is great if you don't mind the pebbles and weirdos.
