can anyone give me directions to the Nudist beach near Barmouth? I have searched google but couldn't make much sense of it. Any reviews and tips would also be welcome.
Thanks. 🙂

Hi Anna, Drive north from Barmouth for about 5 miles and just before reaching Dyffryn Ardudwy there is a left turn by the chapel towards Dyffryn seaside estate. You can park at the end of the lane by Benar beach campsite, cross the dunes and walk north for about half an hour or drive through the seaside estate an pay to park before you reach the dunes. Cross to the beach and walk north for about 20minutes.
If you google Dyffryn Ardudwy and zoom in you will be able to see the campsites.
It is probably one of the best beaches in the UK with plenty of naturists on the beach.

hi anna
I found it easily, as ray said turn is shortly before Dyffryn Ardudwy off the a496, road is Ffordd Benar
as I recall Morfa dyffryn... campsite or something, once you see it it is obvious, is on the sign, which is right on the junction, both on the left hand side
really nice place,

If you're a couple in the Midlands and are under 50...say hi.
Anna. It's easy to find and you'll hopefully enjoy it (if you haven't already been). I was there on Saturday with my partner who's not a naturist but she's not bothered about nakedness. I had told her all about how relaxed it was and how you're left alone and your personal space isn't invaded. How wrong I was that day. There were the usual meerkats popping up from the sand dunes and the textiles walking through. The textiles, however, showed more courtesy & etiquette than other naturist beach users. The same 2/3 ageing males wearing T shirts and hats insisted on repeatedly walking past 2-3 foot away when there was the rest of the beach to walk on. Thankfully she found it funny(ageing bits swinging in the wind), but it's not the best experience for your first time on a naturist beach and it hasn't put her off going with me again.
This isn't meant to put you and your partner off, but I think you should be warned prior to going. Go you will enjoy it.
Hi Anna,
I have been to this beach and it is as described very beautiful, however if you are like me and get lost easily do take notice of where you entered the beach.
On first visit having walked someway up the beach and sunbathed for the day, I could not remember where my car was and had to ask for help, I felt panicky and embarrassed, :-[ a nice gentleman walked me back to the car.

easy to do at morfa.....
I couldn't remember where I'd got onto the beach the first time I went. But if you're parked at the end of the lane near Benar Beach & Dyffryn Seaside Estate, there's a red & white 'telegraph' post marking that exit to the estates and car park.
i lost my bearings too on my first and so far only visit
Bit of a tip - you can almost "drive" onto the beach in StreetView. Very handy in finding your way from the A496.
It is £4.00 to park on the Snowdonia National Park carpark so if you turn right at the bottom of the road ad go to the Dyffyn seaside Estate carpark it is £2.00 but it is on grass and a bit uneven but you will be a bit nearer to the nudist beach. The campsite looks very good and is a superb location. With the railway station being quite near you can get an all day rover ticket for something like £8.00 and you can use the line from Aberystwyth to Pwllhelli and you can hop on and off all day.
