Does anybody know if Long Rock beach in Swalecliffe (between Herne Bay and Whitstable), Kent is still used as a naturist beach?

I haven't been there for Lord knows how long, but I had heard that it had been declared as 'non-naturist' by the local council. I'm fairly sure it used to be an official beach.
I see that an entry for the beach appears on the 'CO beaches' map, but I would like an up-to-date opinion.
I'm asking because if I remember correctly, this beach is clearly visible from the road, and thus any 'illegal' naturism would be easily spotted.
Bottom line is, would I be on my own if I stripped off on this beach?

Hi Brian  unfortunately No has not been for a long time as i live nearby the Council put up notices after letting it be used as naturist for some time. I tried Botany bay sandunes last Sunday but nearly total textile lots of children as well. Leysdown is the only one i know of a bit of a jaunt for a couple of hours for me.

I don't actually know this beach but remember reading of its de-designation as an official naturist beach some years ago.
It still appears on the NUFF site and it would appear that a few naturists do still use it.
btw - naturism is not illegal and you don't have to have an officially sanctioned area, though I appreciate it takes the risk out of someone objecting.

OK guys, thanks for the replies.
If I happen to be in the area I'll take a look, but I won't make a special trip.

Guess I'll have to stick to Leysdown for the time being.
