Just got back from a week camping. I stayed on the Waxham Sands site on the Norfolk coast. It's not a Naturist site, but it does give easy access to the massive stretch of beach from Sea Palling right round to Winterton, most of which is hardly used, and is quite easy to go naked on, and even walk naked for literally miles. Locals will know that the dunes between Horsey and Winterton are accepted as unofficial naturist but even so, I was on my own most days. On Sunday I got to the beach at 7:45. Yes that's early, and yes it was a little chilly still, but the sun was out and I decided I'd make the most of it. About 4 hours later, having seen no-one, I heard a few voices, clearly a family, arrive so I prepared to get dressed and move along a bit just in case. However before I moved, I saw both parents and one of the children head off for a naked swim. They were a naturist family after all. The mother was a very nice and friendly German lady who lives locally and was not at all bothered by me being naked. Part of her culture 🙂
Apart from that encounter I spoke to one other person all week, and I had 6 days on the beach. It's such a great beach I recommend it, but don't all go at once as I like the solitude 🙂
Sounds like a nice place to visit. Thanks for sharing.
I was on the Winterton naturist beach on Saturday morning, and I did not see anyone else either! Sunday I was otherwise occupied (DIY)
As the weather forecast looks very good for the next few days, I intend to make the most of it and go to there today/Wed/Thurs. This morning has started out with very thick mist here, but I hope it will soon lift. Assuming it does I will be off to the beach, and hope I am not the only naturist there...
Ted.
I have just got back from Winterton. Absolutely perfect but unfortunatly for me, wife really against naturalism.
I ended up paddling in just my boxer shorts on Friday. You should of seen her face when i took them off and wrung them out.
There was a naturalist couple further along and i was desperate to just strip off!
