i would not recommend this beach, as
it was subject to a police raid some years ago.
i think some naturists were taken to court &
received a fine.

Thanks Sunfriend, I heard the same reports but it was some years ago, I had hoped there may be a more open attitude of late if everyone respects the sensitivity of non-nudists. Guess I may be clutching at straws, looks like travelling the extra hour the East Coast as usual.

As relatively near Ainsdale, I can advise that the place is definitely not naturist friendly, due to nefarious activities of the dogging fraternity. It attracts quite a bit of police attention and unfortunately genuine naturists are the ones who suffer.
