Hi we are considering a day visit to the Yorkshire Sun Society in Beverley and wondered if anyone has been and would like to share their thoughts on the place.

Many thanks

We love it there and have made many friends.  🙂

We go over every year from Lancashire (to let them have their banter  ;)) in our caravan. Going this year in August.

They have had some bad luck with the floods but bounced back better than ever with new and even better facilities.

No they are a club with their own land (landed club) and have done so for over 75 yrs. The club is used year round but weekends only in winter I think.
See their website. http://www.yorkshiresun.co.uk/

We had a week at YSS about 4 years ago (with husbands unfortunately!) it is a great place to have that back to nature feeling. All the fascilities are really good quality & they have an excellent social calendar. We met lots of really nice people, only slight drawback was the journey out by car to get food & provisions from a local shopping centre about 1 mile away !
We hope to go again as soon as we can get holiday cash together again !

The YSS is a gem of a place. Very friendly members who work tirelesley to make the place welcoming. The pool is lovely and there is also a quite large hot tub and sauna. We go there quite often and love it.
