The cottages and cabins are great in the cooler months but we also like camping when its warmer. We have had some really good nights round the camp fire.
The facilities are basic but the surroundings more than make up for it.

Does anyone know if they have have electric hook-up?

Also - is this the place that does not take dogs? I saw a post on this a while ago and can't remember if it was Tything or not.

Give 'em ring. The owners Joe and June Folder may be contacted on 01646 651452 or 01646 650187. Unfortunatly there is no web site.

There are electric hook ups available at TB but they dont go to the end of the main field. The last time we were there we asked June about dogs, and she told us its fine, as long as the dog is well behaved and kept under control.

Well had a good time and wish i took the sun cream 😀
Yes there are a few electric hook ups and dogs are allowed provided they are keept on a leash.
The owners have a few dogs which run around and guard the place, little old terriers.
What a peaceful and tranquil setting 🙂

I hope to get there for a week 8th may onward. Look for a small pop up caravan and visit for a cup of tea or coffee. I'll be the fat ageing chap with two dogs.

I've just got back from TB today.
It was a bit windy but you can always find a sheltered spot somewhere around the main lagoon.

We met up with Pete at Tything Barn , pity the weather isn't better, but still good down here.

It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .
