I was an impoverished student and my cousin, who's Dutch, managed to swing us a couple of jobs at a restaurant owned by a Dutch guy in the naturist complex. As far as I know no foreigner could do this now, and they give part-time jobs exclusively to French students
We arrived and I wasn't sure where to look or what to think, but wasn't overly concerned because little bikini wearer me would be working clothed.
"When dealing with food...not in the nude" was the owner's philosophy. So we sweated for six days in T shirts and bermuda shorts, serving away or washing dishes. Paunches, circumcisions, saggy boobs, mastectomys, piercings, tattoos, men, women, children, every coloured skin...I'd seen it all by the end of my first week to the point where I'd stopped noticing (probably on the second day).
1000am-0100am, every day, and the remainder of the time, exhausted in bed.
Our first day off came, and my cousin headed down to one of the pools, naked, and lay down to sunbathe. I followed, dressed, but when I got there stripped off practically with no further thought. Having been exposed to it for six days, it felt absolutely natural and right to be naked myself.
I must say it was a marvellous introduction to naturism. There was no pressure to strip, because of the job I was doing, and thus by the time I got the opportunity to do it myself I had seen it all and knew it was no big deal. Swimming and sunbathing naked seemed logical and the newness of doing everyday things naked -such as buying a paper- soon waned.
By the second week, we had taken to walking to work naked, just to sneak in a few minutes nude in the sun before having to dress in the dreaded uniform.

We spent our first holiday there @ Agde last September and loved every minute.
We always went shopping clothed as it doesnt seem right to be purchasing fresh bread and veggies in the nude but i must say the clothing we wore was very minimalisitc but it just maintained a sort of hygienic attitude. 😉

The 'day off' was great each week. The rest of the time it was a slog. Agde's nicely hot for us Brits...sometimes too hot. So imagine stepping from the great Cap outdoors into 10 degrees more heat, to collect people's plates, dressed...
Even worse was the dishwashing, because that offered no respite from the heat. When serving you were in and out of the kitchens, so you might have got a cool breeze occasionally. Not so with the washing. You just washed up for a couple of hours, inside, dressed. Not fun.

we've just read you not about your first time getting naked- we can admire you so much- we' ve been naturist for years- been to many places but next summer are going to Cap A'Dge for three whole naked weeks. Just writing to say well done!. We went there a few years ago, loved it but subsequently found somewhere even better for us - El Cotillo on Fuerteventura.
We had no trouble finding Chaco de Palo from the airport in our hire car. The two significant points I found were:
i) I usually drive an automatic and going up one of the hills forgot to change down early enough. When I realised I was so hurried that I forgot it was left hand drive and tried to change gear using the window winder instead of the gearstick.
ii) We didn't get roind to starting the hire car again until the evening before we were going home when I decided I had better make sure the battery was not flat after being left for so long unattended.
