On Bank Holiday Monday I finally took the step and went naked in public for the first time, although I didn't think it would happen.

Going naked on the beach is something I have thought about for years, but a lack of confidence and body issues have always put me off. When discussing what to do for Bank Holiday my girlfiend and I decided to go camping in Swanage and thoughts crept towards Studland. After bringing up the subject with Jo she was of the opinion that she would try anything once, so preperations were made for a weekend away.

We left Aldershot in beautiful sunshine, by the time we reached Swanage it was grey and windy. Never one to be put of we pitched the tent and hoped the wether would change, how wrong could we be?  🙂 Sunday was such a miserable day, no way was I heading to a beach, let alone getting naked on it, so a day of exploring Dorset followed. Monday started the same way, but Jo assured me it would be sunny, and just before lunch time a patch of blue broke through! We headed for Studland with butterflies in the stomach, me declaring that I was in no way nervous, whilst the opposite was far more accurate. We reached the beach, which was pretty quiet and found a spot to put up the windbreak. I took a look round and just went for it, off came the shorts and the world continued to turn.  🙂 Jo followed and two first time naturists soon lay in beautiful sunshine.

Weather permitting we are off to Studland again next weekend, totally hooked.  🙂
