My first time was about 3 years ago.
I knew of the Morfa Dyffryn Naturist beach and took the plunge on my own, on a sunny day in May.
I stripped off quite shyly and lay on the sand on my beach towel near to the southern end, (as I had heard that the northern end is more for the gay fraternity.)
It was the most liberating moment of my life and I was hooked.
A while later, I asked the couple nearby if they would keep an eye on my kit and walked to the sea for my first naturist swim......... Invigorating........ and it felt like the most natural thing to be doing on earth.
I would recommend it to anybody, not that anybody on here needs any encouragement (or do they?)
Benar Beach campsite is nearby. It is a 25 minute walk to the naturist beach, and it has an enclosed naturist camping area. Ask Dafydd at reception and he will direct you.

It is also walkable from Shell Island (non naturist)
PM me for more details.

Ok, I find north and south a little confusing and as I intend on going to this beach during the spring and summer, do I go left or right? :-/
Are there signs or perhaps I should wait and see who sits where. I do not wish to be found in the gay area.

Thanks for the info on Morfa. We are planning a tour of the principality this summer and Morfa is on the agenda. Benar Beach campsite sounds interesting 🙂

cheers, Tim
