Tonight we took our first plunge into naturism. We joined the members of the Leeds Naturist Group for a swim.
The atmosphere was great and the people were very friendly.
We really enjoyed it and we look forward to going again next week.

Congratulations now the warmer weather is coming there's no stopping.
It would be nice if it would come a bit quicker, though. 🙁
Boundaries are there to be stretched!
The wonderful comments above just prove what I put in another thread
"Nudism will cease to be something that you have tried, and it will become something that you are."
Great that you really enjoyed it and it's good to read some really positive first time experiences. I bet most of us here feel the same.

Yes, well done, been to a few swims our selves now, both small i.e.30 and larger 2-300 - stoke, and have a had agreat time at them all.
All naturists we've met have been friendly, some a little "too" frindly but you get strange people in all walks of life, naturism isn't and shouldn't be any different.
If you're a couple in the Midlands and are under 50...say hi.
Glad you took the plunge.
The beach next 😀

Congratulations, so no more soggy wet nylon and silly towel dance to do now then. 😎
well done, holidays next
take my word for it , time goes by too quickly to worry, you will wish you done it earlier
enjoy
they don't know what you do untill you dont do it
And if you enjoyed it , why not approach one of the Yorkshire Clubs : Ashdene , Valley , White Rose or YSS. Going swimming in an indoor pool is fine , but you cant beat sunshine and fresh air. 😉
When the sun shines, yes we will approach other places but our main post was actually saying we've made the first move into naturism.

well done you 2 ;D
Hi there Paul and Helen
Been thinking about going to the Leeds swim ouselves. What was it like, was there many there?
Also we want to know whether to take our daughter along or would she feel out of place ( she's 10)
cheers in advance😉
Hi there,
It depends from week to week how many is at the swim but there is usually a quite a few in.
Its a really friendly group and very welcoming, there is a sauna too but the hot tub is out of commision ATM.
You do have to email them for an invite letter (unless you've already done that?) which tells you times, where it is etc.
There was at least 4 kids there last week but some weeks no kids are there, so I would suppose it would depend on your daughter and how she feels about it if no kids are that that particular week but she ould deffo be made welcome by everyone there.
Take care,
Helen and paul

Hi. We first went nude outdoors on the beach in Minorca. The closest sand to our villa was almost 100% naked, and was the best beach in the north of the island. It took us about 1 second to decide. The kids stayed at the villa pool and refused to join us. We got over that. Liberation... and we were hooked.
On the subject of 'Swims'. We have been to Northfield, but it seems a bit false, with no sky, sun (hopefully) and air. But then, you see we are not so keen on indoor swimming pools anyway. But if you enjoy, that's all that matters. 🙂
