I have had many first times. Even back in the remote past the first time sleeping naked seemed at the time a big step, both the first time while away at university, and then coming back home. Then years later a first outdoor experience, at Studland, unexpected, not planned, we just went there for the day while we were holidaying in Dorset. That was only a few minutes really, in the sea, a bit of sunbathing, on an almost deserted beach on an day that had turned out sunny after an umpromising start.

That awakened the interest. I started looking for other opportunities for outdoor nudism and found them limited. There were very few official beaches. Naturist clubs were very picky. The national body BN was a bitchy talking shop. But I joined BN anyway, discovered what was available. The first public naturist experience was at Abbey House, which was superb in that it was such an obviously pleasant experience that it got Cath trying it for the first time, she said she felt silly in the minority of those still clothed.

The first social naturist experience was a Shabden river cruise on the Norfolk Broads. Completely different from Abbey House because you're here talking to people with names.

And so onwards. Another first only recently was a long walk in the country. I have done some wild naturism, mostly in France in the Alps and Corbieres, but I've never had the courage for a long walk in the UK. Going out with the SOC was one of the best days I've had, 18km walking, of which probably 16.5km nude, in beautiful country.

Not sure what the next first will be ....
