Telephoned several local naturist clubs 5 years ago and enquired about joining as a single male. I was married but my wife did not see the attraction of naturism. Luckily I was invited to The Pines and I met a member at a prearranged rendezvous who escorted me to the club site. The sun was out that day so going naked seemed appropriate. Had it been cold and wet then maybe the idea of getting undressed would have been harder to rationalise.
Yes the feeling of being naked in the open did feel strange at first but this soon disappeared, and new friendships were made.
My wife did not join me at the club for 5 years, but she has recently accompanied me to the club twice now. I hope this will flourish. I have not pressurised her but gently encourage the idea of many more visits as a couple  🙂
