I used to love wandering around a local forest, you could spend an hour not seeing anyone and so I used to take the opportunity to strip and enjoy the day.

Sadly got caught out too many times by horse riders, they appear from knowhere!!

A few embarressed smiles, sad to say havent been back for a while.

Hi,

It's encouraging to hear that you got away with smiles, embarrassed or not! Horses and bicycles seem to be some of the worst menaces, bicycles being fast and silent, and horses giving a high viewpoint. But neither can get everywhere that you can reach on foot.

Are you still looking for places?

Cheers,
nib

I find bridleways are the best places to walk these days.  Not a lot of people use them and if you pick the right time you dont even see riders.

I managed a long nude walk in scotland last year, well off any tracks and on steep forested hill sides it was sheltered from the weather and view, I didn't want it to end

I think there are some parts of the country that you can find plenty of open spaces and forests to walk in, as mentioned Scotland is a good example. Here in the south east I think it is harder, not impossible, to find those gems.
