We'd been planning a general holiday without the kids for a few months and had been talking about the South of France. A nice drive and some quality time together just myself and my wife.
While looking at routes and destinations on Google Maps we stumbled across Cap d'Agde and I asked my wife if she thought she could ever go naked on a beach. The answer from both of us was the same. Maybe go in swimming gear and then have a quick run to the sea and back naked..
Long story short, we got back at 5am this morning after spending a full week naked. Supermarkets, restaurants, post offices, beach, just soaking up the whole experience.
It's been utterly life changing! The sense of freedom and for us, the first holiday I've ever had where I've not taken my phone and called work every other day. We're so much closer as a couple too. Utterly brilliant!
It does feel very odd wearing clothes now though...
I'll be posting up our experiences of the resort across several boards (Some of the things we've seen aren't really suitable for the main boards). There is definitely 2 sides to the place. The genuine naturist side and the sexier side. We only went for the naturist element but curiosity got the better of us so we had to go and have a look at the other side even though it wasn't really our thing.
Anyway, off to make a coffee and start getting our experiences down so apologies in advance for all the posts you're likely to see on the place in the coming days. We're both still buzzing.

If you're open minded, you'll have a great time. If you're careful you could take family but I don't think I ever would.
There would be too many complicated questions from a 12 year old lad...

He/She certainly took us by surprise...
Don't get me wrong, fabulous that he/she* was in a place so accepting that he/she could comfortably walk around naked without fear of recrimination or judgement but I think I'll save those conversations with my kids for another time.
*Please excuse the he/she referral. I'm really not sure how to refer to a person of mixed gender.

always wanted to go but as a single man i would feel a bit wierd, becvause of the 'sexi' side of things. Heard so many differing tales of the place, and whilst i'm no prude i am perhaps a little over sensitive of being a single male: seen too much predatory stuff from single males in the past and don't want to add to it
let's get naked, its fun
I've been to Agde as a single bloke.. a long story how, but that's irrelevant. The whole week was fantastic and I have nothing but great memories from the trip. Would happily go again. Remember there is no need to explore the stories that are put about. It is entirely possible to simply enjoy the place as a naked village holiday destination and nothing more.
