I was thinking about this today and worked out that my first time was 50 years ago this coming summer. I was 16 at the time and on our scout troop's summer camp at a Boy Scouts' campsite in Kent. The campsite, unusually, had an indoor swimming pool and the first and last hour each day was for 'those who wished to swim without the restriction of a costume'. Several of us older boys tried it the first evening and I was hooked, going back for a nude swim just about every opportunity.

Just can't beat the feeling of the lack of swimsuit can you. Shame I have to don my speedos when I'm in a normal pool, but the beach is another matter. Always slip them off if I'm swimming in the sea.
