One Summer evening,aged around 15, myself and a friend decided not to go to the Sea Cadets one Thursday evening and instead go for a wander along a disused railway line.
It was a warm evening and my friend suggested that we take some of our uniform of as it was hot that evening.
I fely comfortable and we stripped down to our briefs and walked along for about a mile.
We then came to a slight downhill embankment and both decided to take a rest.
He then said why not take off our briefs, which we did, and although felt odd at first, I was overcome by a sense of freedom, even at that age.
We both sat down on the grassy bank, laid back and chatted whilst enjoying the moment and looking at each other and the differences in our appearance.
We stayed naked while we walked back after our rest and stayed that way for about an hour until it got dark, carrying our heavy uniform, getting dressed before catching the bus home.
I can think back now, and will never forget that Summer evening as it awoke feelings of freedom I had never had before.
We had some explaining to do to our parents for being later than we should have been, and sadly was grounded after that.
