Off here in a couple of weeks and thought it a good placemaybe to try some nude sunbathing , anybody reccomend any nearby beaches ?
I have seen couples nude on the rocks below the cliffs to the left at Pria de Luz, but I think you need to be confident to do that as the beach is definitely textile.
Zavial, about 20 minutes down the coast, is a definite option. Great beach, good surfing, snorkelling and strolling options. Also has a nice beach bar.
Mia Praia, (think thats the spelling), to the East of Lagos is the biggest, but somewhat open to the elements.
Many other beaches to the west of Luz have naturist possibilities depending on who gets there first.

I know the areaa well. Have been there a number of times. Rocha Negra is the black rock there. I have recently spent about 3 days there naked the whole time and seen hardly anyone. Be careful in the sea though. Vicious rip tides.
I recommend Zavial. It is an easy drive along the coast from Praia De Luz.
You can park by the beach then a 5 minute walk, past the bar, along the beach to the far end (east) by the cliff.

If you are there when the tide is out, you can walk further east along a beautiful rock-strewn beach.
From late-June ownwards, until October, the sea is a perfect temperature for paddling/swimming but (like all the beaches in Algarve) watch the tides/currents - people do drown there!
