Hi - has anyone here camped in Cap D'Adge? If so was it OK - we'll be in our camper so two main questions really
- is it noisy at night as the place seems quite 'lively' which we don't mind......until we want want to go to sleep that is! Don't fancy being kept awake with the thub thub of discos at 2 in the morning.
- do they take dogs on the campsite?
Thanks

We have taken the caravan to Cap d'Agde the past 2 years and found it fine . What time of year were you thinking of going ? Dogs are allowed on the campsite . The thub thub of the discos can be heard , but only very very slightly as you are quite away from the night life centre , as for the campsite late evening it goes very quiet .
It is very hard to describe the inner enjoyment of being naked .
Thanks for the info, we'll be there towards the end of June so hopefully not too busy. Just useful to know we can take the dog there - we're travelling for five weeks so we're bringing her with us as kennels would cost a fortune.
As I say, it's a bit hypocritical - we fancy a bit of nightlife but when its time to turn in we want it quiet...
Looking forward to a week or so there though.

Just building on the previous post - camping seems to be at Rene Oltra. Is this the same place as the main Cap village or is it separate? If we're on the campsite can we freely use facilities in the main village such as swimming pools, restaurants, jacuzzis, bars etc?
Thanks

Its been a few years since I was there, but last time I camped at Euro Camp Just down the beach from the town. Not a naturist camp site, but far enough and quiet enough to be a welcome break from the buzz of the town. Located right on the beach, its a pleasant naked stroll up to the town.
Of course if you're wanting a completely naturist stay it's not much good, but thought I would mention it 🙂

We've been camping at cap for the past three years now and havent had a problem with noise. The site closes down at 12 and you have to go to security to get back in, they have electric carts to take you to your pitch as no vehicles are allowed in after that time. The camp site is adjacent to the main site and you have access to all the facilities. We will be there in late July again with our camper. Hope you have a great holiday.

Looking forward with a Bare behind
Thanks for all the advice!

Hi Adam
I've stayed on the CHM Rene Oltra campsite a number of times and as others have already said the campsite is quiet at night. Staying on the campsite also gives you access to the other facilities that the Naturist Quarter has to offer. I'm planning to return again in August
Hi. We are hoping to go to Cap with another couple next year (depending on the Rugby League fixtures). We are looking for accomodation with two double bedrooms rather than I double and a sofa bed. Can anyone point us in the right direction as to where to find that kind of setup?
Thanks

We picked up the Peng brochure in the club last week. Only just had a browse. Any idea why self drive is more expensive than rail when you are putting in the fuel? No nor us! lol

I suspect Eurostar/SNCF have spare capacity on weekends while the ferry companies can fill their space easily and therefore don't give Peng the same level of discount.

I am considering going to Cap d'Agde next year, but I want to do it as cheaply as possible.
I know that there is tent camping in the naturist areas, but does anyone know if it possible to book a pre-erected tent on the site? I don't really want to take my own car, so this would be an ideal solution.

The booking website for the campsite just seems to have chalets and mobile homes.

You can find most of what you need to know about the Cap d'Agde Naturist Village, whats "inside" the gates and how things work there on this network.
