Went for a walk today, great weather, sun, warm, just a little breeze. Parked up in one of my usual places, to see textile walkers adding more and more clothes before setting off, I had to laugh to myself, knowing that I was heading in another direction, and removing my garments, and it wasn't even cold.
Don
Hi Don,
Was it really warm enough today in Devon? Although the thermometer outside was showing 13C, with the breeze it was more like 5-6C in Sunny but chilly Brighton.
Tony
yes, it certainly was, even on the coastline, the breeze was in the wrong direction to cool it down too much.
Suggest you move to this more agreeable part of the world.
Don
It would be a good idea to move down to your neck of the woods but I don't think Irene would go along with it. Anyway we wouldn't want to live to close to our friend 'Devon rob' he's a pain, always want's to be active & we like to relax in the sun.
Which part of Devon are you Don, North or South?
Hallo Tony, I'm in North Devon, couldn't live in the south too many people there. Need my peace and quiet away from work and be able to wander the beaches, and moors naked, and without interference from too many others.
Don
I Fully understand Don. We joined Valerian for the peace & quiet, as its a small club there is often nobody else there for a good part of the day. The first club we belonged to was very nice, but very busy so we soon moved on.
Rob is in the south, and after my comments on previous thread may not be our friend anymore. [smiley=sad.gif]
I imagine this pain will still be your friend and I promise I will not rush around so much any more ( I am getting on a bit now you know) ;D.
I agree with Dev Don. The North is less busy than the South, but in the summer it is heaving down here and we often escape to the moors. Well worth a visit. Hint hint..... ;D
Well worth a visit. Hint hint.....
And what is that supposed to mean? Maybe you mean if we go for a walk on the moors, we might get lost. 😮
Dam. Foiled again, you have seen through my cunning plan!!!
Seriously its lovely here, well worth a trek. 🙂
