I decided to to revisit the place I found whilst walking on the busy bank holiday last month.
Not a particularly early start, but I was there by 8:30 and as expected there was very little sign of people around.
Having found the path I walked on on the busiest day of the year so far and there being no one using it, I figured on a Tuesday morning the chances of bumping into someone was little to none.
I don't know if its my recent discovery that I'm not alone in enjoying secret naturism, but I seem to have got a little bolder lately than I used to be. Not too sure that's a good thing to be honest, but anyway a 5 minute walk away from the car and I ventured off the main path.
Having decided that it was relatively safe I had made my mind up to walk as much of the outing as possible without clothes. So up a grassy bank and behind a tree, out of sight of the path, I left my clothes and ventured on naked and free.
walking on the path and I am now far enough away from my clothes to be committed to doing the walk all the way. A great feeling and as I already mentioned if no one was on the path on bank holiday its unlikely today. Always a risk, but a managed one in my head.
Strolling along the path the cool breeze felt wonderful and the warm sun on my naked body added to an already wonderful experience. I will walk in most weathers and each has its pro's and cons, but English summer sunshine is hard to beat.
Leaving the path I cut through a grassy glade and onto the bank where I first came across the area.. I walked along the edge of the trees until I discovered another trail running along the hillside and climbing steadily as it did so. Dropping down the grassy bank onto the path I followed it for a while, feeling the soft earth under my feet before the lure of walking in the grass brought me back onto the bank.
A beautiful morning to be wandering through natural surroundings and feeling at one with it all.
At the top of the bank a fence divided the woodland from a conifer plantation and a few fallen trees had been chopped and left to rot , providing home for insects and thereby attracting different birds to the area. A cuckoo call filled the air nearby, the first one I have heard this year and a little late in the year to do so, but a fantastic sound non the less.
resting on the tree I spent a little while sitting in the sunshine and thinking about the whole experience. I had walked a long way from where I had left my belongings, was totally naked and unencumbered by any of life's trappings and felt great about it.
Laying in the grass I rolled onto my back and stared upwards seeing the tall straight trees converge as they reached for a pure blue cloudless sky.
An ant bite on my bum brought me back to reality very quickly and gave me something to think about for a while ! lol
Feeling relaxed and happy I walked on a while longer, enjoying the sun on my back and the sights, sounds and smells around me. Further on some more fallen tree gave me an opportunity to indulge in some light lifting work ! 😉 ...
... before stopping to take in the view from the area, which provided a lovely sight over the trees and out over the nearby hills. Having no way of know the time (or caring in reality) I noticed that the sun was quite high in the sky by now and consequently a bit hotter.
From my location onwards the trees began to thin and the country changes into open moorland, so for now unless i wanted to be completely open I decided to turn back and head back towards where I started.
Not retracing my steps completely I followed a grassy path down hill until it almost met the main path. At that point I cut through the trees feeling the difference in the soft cool grass to the dry carpet of needles and the cool air out of the sunshine in the thicker trees. Back above the trees the area opened up and yet another little used path opened up in front of me.
I followed it for a while heading to my clothes, when the sound of voices alerted me to people nearby. I moved pretty quickly into the trees , but didn't actually see anyone, I think their voices must have carried from the main path that follows the edge of the water a good way below. Probably mountain bikers shouting at each other as they rode, but i quickened my heart rate for a while.
Reaching my clothes without further mishap, other than a nettle sting on my shin i donned my shorts and carrying my boots walked barefoot with my tshirt tucked in the waistband back to the main path. Two guys walking a dog passed me and with Jake on the lead we waved a cheery greeting before passing along.
Standing back on a man made surface the concrete felt harsh and hot under my feet.
I paused to take in the adventure and with a smile turned back to the car. The clock told a story of a lost period of time as I had been gone for nearly 3 hours. All of it apart from the 5 minutes each way from and to the car spent wandering naked , free and utterly happy
🙂

Thank you Mark,
A very well presented post, which I hope will inspire others to get out into the countryside. It is our favourite for naked times, beats the beach and our patio by miles.
I did exaggerated slightly on the shoutbox, Tony does enjoy a walk in the country but our local bit of the southdowns is quite exposed with lot's of dog walkers & motorbike menaces. 🙁
So we go to places like Naturist Couples farm in Wales, where at least it's only voyeuristic sheep watching us. [smiley=sheepbounce.gif]

Hi Irene,
I am slightly puzzled by your reference to Tony as some sort of partner when your profile says that you are not part of a couple.
If you would rather not explain this for personal reasons, we will take you at your word and not press further.

@ John Gw
The couple/non couple indication in the profile area was not there in the dark ages when I completed my profile. ::)
I had not updated my profile since we started the forum, but feel sure you would have noticed that it has always stated 'I am married to Admin/Tonyvic'.
If you enjoyed your little dig, I am pleased for you. ;D
I would like to thank you for highlighting the fact that some of us don't update profiles when needed. Let's hope my mistake encourages others to review/update theirs.

Apologies for omiting smileys in my previous post. :-[
