Headed out this morning at 9am for a walk near Alford in Aberdeenshire. Parked the car up in the Forestry carpark and headed up the path (usually a very quiet area), as there were no other cars I immediately undressed. The weather was sunny but only around 16 deg C, but with no wind the sun soon warmed the place up. The path was a little rough as the forestry commission are currently logging in the area but I soon headed off up through the nice treelined routes.
I came out into a large grass clearing and was stood admiring the views across the hills when I noticed a deer heading across towards me, I stood still and watched as it approached a bush around 10m away and start nibbling on the shoots, it did glance across at me but was more concerned about the 2 pheasants it disturbed near the bush, after a few more nibble it decided to lie down in the long grass beside the bush for an afternoon nap. I left him alone and headed back along one of the tracks before stopping to look where a rather loud noise was coming from, to my surprise all the noise was being made by 2 small red squirrels fighting/playing/having fun (not sure!), didn't know they could make so much noise. After around 5 hours I headed back towards my car, stopping about 1 mile away I put on my shorts as the last part of track normally has dog walkers who don't venture too far, thankfully my choice was a good one as round the next corner was an elderly gentleman heading up the track, we stopped and discussed the usual 'British Weather' and both hoped it would be the start of things to come, and at the least last a few days 🙂

brilliant ! walking in the countryside is a lovely experience and being lucky enough to get close to the wildlife is a definite bonus.. It seems that a naked human is seen as somehow less of a threat? A shame that fellow humans don't accept the same thought!

Looks like a great place to walk as well,

Thanks for sharing 🙂

Luckily I managed to be out the same way again today for work, I took my walking stuff in the off chance of getting a short walk in this evening. The morning was beautiful and sunny though hot and sticky, by afternoon there was a torrential downpour and big black clouds. However just after 4pm it started to brighten up again, so I headed for the forestry commission carpark. The carpark was empty  ;D So I stripped at the side of my car and put on my Berghaus waterproof trousers, not really realising their use for a naturist walks in the past I found the complete zip up each leg along with poppers very useful. The reason I put them on was the access gate which is usually closed was lying open, suspecting the forestry commission to still be onsite and working I headed up the path with a tshirt and waterproof trousers on. Once I arrived at their work site and realised they had left for the night I stripped off and continued my walk. The air was still quite hot and sticky but very bearable naked, with the odd shower of rain to cool me off which was quite an experience. The black clouds circled about along with spells of sunshine but thankfully no heavy downpours. 3 hours later I headed back to my car and got all the way back to it as the carpark was still empty, which makes a change to usually having to dress about 1 mile from the car due to dogwalkers... You can see the difference on weather in tonights photo's compared to the ones above from yesterday.
